Chapter 9 - Different

Chloe's P.O.V
Since the last day I have finally admitted that I like Jay, but I don't know what to do about it, there's no way that he likes me and at the same time I'm still with Cameron and I don't know what to do because there are feelings there for Cameron too, it's just so frustrating.
Right now I'm in school at my lyrical dance class and we have to do improv to a piece of music and I did what I always do, I channeled my emotions and the dance probably looked a mess but it did help me release some of the frustration. At the end of the class my teacher, Mrs Ford, asked me to stay back,
"Chloe, I noticed your dance and I just wanted to make sure you were okay?" She asked
"I'm okay I'm just confused about some stuff right now but I'm slowly figuring it out" I reassured her
"Well the improv was amazing, you should be proud of if" she smiled before dismissing me.
I went to my locker and Cameron was there, I walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the lips,
"Hey, so I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie later?" He asked smiling
"I'm sorry but I can't, I have rehearsals with Jay for the showcase" I tell him
"You've been spending a lot of time with him" he said annoyed
"I know but it's just to bond so we can pull of the preformance, you know how much this means to me" I look at him
"Yeah I know how much this means to you, I just feel like I haven't seen you in forever" he sighed
"I know but we do see each other here, I know it's not a lot but once the showcase is over everything will go back to normal" I smiled
"Can you just do me a favour?" He looked at me
"What is it?" I asked cautious
"Promise me there's nothing going on between you and Jay" he stared at me
"There's nothing, I promise" I smile
"Okay, thank you, see you later" he said sounding relieved before kissing me and walking off.

"You told him there was nothing going on between ye?" Rebecca asked with wide eyes
"Yeah because there isn't" I shook my head
"But you like him that's something" she told me
"It would be something if he liked me back, or if we almost kissed or something but none of that has happened" I explained
"He does like you back" she sighs
"How would you know?" I laughed rolling my eyes
"Barry told me" she smirked
"Well it doesn't matter cause nothing has happened so Cameron has nothing to worry about" I told her.

It was the end of the day and Jay and I were in the dance hall rehearsing our dance at the end of the dance the way we finish, we're kind of close and that's never bothered us before but this time it did,
"Look we need to do this properly" I sighed
"I know" he threw his head back in frustration

"You guys look like ye're having great craic" Barrys laughed as he walked in with Rebecca
"Oh yeah loads" I sighed
"What's up?" Rebecca asked concerned
"We can't finish it properly" Jay explained
"Ye were doing so well though" Rebecca told us
"We know, we don't know what's happened" I groan
"Ye'll figure it out don't worry" Barry nodded reassuringly.

I don't know what's going on, everythinf between us just seems so different, what if me realising my feelings for him and him supposedly realising his feelings for me has messed everything up....
