Chapter 7 - YOU LIKE HIM

Chloe's P.O.V
So over the past 2 weeks Jay and I have spent time together outside of rehearsals, him and Barry have started to sit at my table at lunch and we've met outside school too, right now we're at the beach walking along just talking about random things,
"Okay so you get everything sugary and sweet and a load of flavours of ice cream, put it all together and it's called an everything but the kitchen sink sundae?" He asks unsure
"Yes! It is amazing, you have to try it sometime" I encourage him
"Well I'll do it when you're around incase I go to do something wrong" he laughs
"How can you mess up something as simple as that?" I raise an eyebrow laughing
"It's me" he raises his arms laughing
"That's a good point" I laughed with him
"Okay so-" he starts but he ends up......falling......into the water "DID YOU SERIOUSLY PUSH ME INTO THE WATER?" He yells laughing
"Maybe" I laughed loud
"Okay well two can play at that game" he said as he grabbed my and pulled me in
"Oh my god you dick" I laughed
"You did it to me first!" He raised his voice in a happy way
"Yeah! But I'm allowed" I splashed him.
After messing at the beach for like 2 hours he drove us back to my house where my mum invited him to stay for dinner and he accepted. I offered to cook and he offered to help me and my mum told us to belt away so we went into the kitchen
"Okay so I'm warning you now you're not going to find and lobster in our house" I joked
"Atleast tell me you have cavier" be joked back and we laughed
"What should we cook?" I asked
"Homemade pizza?" He asked
"Oh my god yes! I love pizza" I got excited.
We started to cook the pizza and of course we messed around but eventually it got done, we made everyome they're own individual pizzas and we all got to do our own toppings. When we sat down to eat Jay and Daniel thought it would be fun to take the piss out of me but I took the piss out of them back and my mum just laughed at us and started to tell embarrassing stories about me,
"Mum stop" I whined
"There was that time when you were 4 and you wet the bed and you didn't want to tell us so instead you told us you burst a hot water bottle" she laughed and Jay couldn't breathe he was laughing that hard
"Oh shut up you I know embarrassing stories about you too remember" I threatened and he shut up straight away but then we all started laughing again.
Jay and I cleaned up the kitchen after dinner and I remembered something
"I have an idea" I smiled walking over to the freezer
"What is it?" He asked looking at me as I pulled out a big tub of ice cream
"An everything but the kitchen sink sundae to wash down the pizza of course" I smiled huge
"Alright lets do it" he nodded coming over to me.
"Alright this is really good" he laughed taking another spoon of the ice cream
"I told you" I smiled.

After awhile my mum put Daniel to bed and it was time for Jay to go so I walked him to his car to say goodbye and he shocked me when he hugged me. Once he was gone I went back inside and about 5 minutes later Rebecca landed in,
"Tell me everything" she squeeled running over to the kitchen table to me and my mum
"She likes him" my mum smiled
"I knew it! When did she admit it?" Rebecca asked excited
"Woah what?! I nevee said I liked him I mean maybe as a friend but not like that" I shook my head
"Chloe stop kidding yourself, you like the boy" my mum laughed
"Your mums right you like him" Rebecca agreed
"No I don't! Am I the only one remembering that I have a boyfriend?" I asked looking between them while they shared a look "what?" I asked
"You mean the boyfriend that you barely spend time with anymore?" Rebecca asked
"Look I've been trying to bond with Jay so that we so good at the showcase that's it" I defens myself
"Okay so what did ye do today to 'bond'" Rebecca asked,
So I told them everything and when I finished they glanced between each other and at the same time they both said
"YOU LIKE HIM"
