Chloe's P.O.V
It's a week closer to my audition and all I've been doing lately is rehearsing, the head mistress let me off classes for these 2 weeks so I could spend all my time preparing. Rebecca has been helping me in her free time, giving me ideas and she helped me pick my music, I decided to dance to a slower version of Never Forget You (above^).
I was doing my dance when Jay walked in, he let me finish before clapping,
"That was amazing, you're going to knock them off their feet" he smiled walking over to me
"Thank you, but it needs to be better" I huffed
"You just need to practice some more and smooth of the rough edges but other than that it is a great dance" he kissed me
"I just want this so badly" I hugged him
"I know you do" he nodded.
It was the end of the school day but I was staying back even later so I could rehearse my dance properly, Rebecca, Barry, Aoife and Jay just left and I was finishing another bottle of water before walking to the middle of the floor to run through my dance again. I did all the turns and stretches and every dance move perfectly but to me it wasn't enough, so I ran it again and again and again until I was close to passing out.
When I got home I had my dinner and went out to the garden to mark the dance and practice my turns when my mum came out,
"If you keep going you're gonna end up collapsing" she laughed
"I need to keep rehearsing mum, I need it to be perfect" I sighed getting in position to start the dance again
"I know pet but your health is a lot more important than this dance, you won't be getting too far if you land yourself in hospital after collapsing from exhaustion" she raised an eyebrow
"I'm so afraid I'm gonna mess it up" I shook my head
"You need a break every now and then Chloe, you got home at half eight, had your dinner in record time and came straight out here and have been practicing even more for an hour, you need to relax" she sighed
"I know I know" i huffed
"You've been working like this every day for the past week, you need to relax before you cause serious damage to yourself" was all she said before walking inside.
After dancing for another 30 minutes Jay and Rebecca came around and sat talking to me while I took a short break,
"You look exhausted Chloe" Rebecca smiles sadly
"That's because I am" I laughed "but it has to be done"
"I know babe but please don't hurt yourself or else all this work would have been for nothing" Jay wrapped his arm around my waist
"I suppose" I nodded "so what has you guys coming round" I asked looking between them
"Your mum called, she wants us to get you inside to shower and then watch a movie before strapping you to your bed so you don't get up at three in the morning to rehearse" Rebecca laughed
"Okay maybe I should go in before I start to make my mum a nervous wreck" I laughed.
We went inside and after having a shower we cuddled up on the couch and watched hairspray before Rebecca and Jay went home and I went to bed.
