Chapter 26 - Day One

Chloe's P.O.V
It was my first day at Juliard today and to say I was nervous would be a huge understatement. I was stood looking at myself in the mirror and decided that I would do, I grabbed my stuff and walked downstairs for breakfast,
"Good morning" I smiled when I walked into the kitchen
"Hello darling, I know it's your first day but I got called to go into work earlier than usual but Tommy is going to drive you and help you make your way around" she explained
"It's okay don't worry about it" I assured her
"Here is your breakfast and some money for lunch" she placed $20 on the table
"Oh no I couldn't take this" I shook my head trying to hand it back to her
"Don't be silly I'm here to look after you and you need to eat" she walked away gathering her things
"Morning" Thomas came into the kitchen ready for the day and sat at the table
"Good morning" I smiled
"You ready for day one?" He asked digging into his breakfast
"I'm ready but nervous" I nod
"Don't be I'll be with you for every step of the way" he smiled.

We had just arrived at the school and I was filled with excitement. We walked in and Thomas helped me find my locker and then walked me to my first class,
"I'll be back here to walk you to your next class after this one so if I'm not here when you get out just wait ok?" He told me
"Okay no problem" I nodded before walking into my first ever class at Juliard
"Hey!" He called
"Yeah?" I asked
"Good luck" he smiled before walking off.

I placed my things down and sat down to stretch, a girl walked over and sat in front of me
"New here?" She asked
"Is it that obvious?" I laughed
"Well everyone else is stretching in a group and you're by yourself so I kinda guessed" she laughed as well "I'm Erin" he stuck out her hand for me to shake
"Chloe" I smiled shaking her hand
"Where you from Chloe?" She continued stretching
"Ireland" I answered her while stretching out my back
"Wow you've come a long way" she laughed
"Yeah but I've always wanted to study here so here I am" I nodded
"Come on let me introduce you to my friends" she stood up nodding her head towards a group of 4 people.
Erin and I walked over and they all looked up
"Guys this is Chloe she's new here and she's from Ireland, Chloe that is Caroline, Devin, Carla and Andrea" she introduced
"Hey" I waved
"Sit down and stretch with us" Carla smiled and patted the floor next to her
"So you're from Ireland, that accent is so sexy" Devin winked
"Hang on, before you think Devin is a creep he's not he's just gay" Andrea laughed
"I had a feeling" I laughed along
"Really? I was so shocked when I found out Devin was gay" Carla laughed
"It must be an Irish thing or something but we all seem to know when someones gay" I shrugged
"LINE UP!" The teacher yelled interrupting everyone's talking,
We all ran to line up like she said,
"Okay class first of all we have a new student with us, Chloe" she pointed at me and Caroline bumped my shoulder "My name is Ms charles" she looked at me before continuing "everyone over in the corner we're doing one by one improv" she pointed to a corner and we all ran to line up.
The music started and I was third to go and when I did I danced with everything I had and when I reached Caroline and Devin they were in shock
"You are awesome" Caroline smiles
"Hunny where did you learn to dance like that in little old Ireland" Devin wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

We reached the end of class and when I walked out Thomas was standing there waiting for me
"How did it go?" He asked walking towards me
"Great! I met some people and they're really nice" I told him as we began to walk.

It was time for lunch and Thomas walked me to his table to meet all his friends. We reached a table that had 6 lads at it,
"Yo this is Chloe, she's the girl living with me and my family while she studies here" he introduced me "that is Jason, Owen, Taylor, Wayne, Aaron and Shawn" he pointed to each of the boys
"Hey" I smiled and waved
"Sit down" Thomas pointed to the seat next to Shawn,
I sat down and Thomas sat beside me,
"So Chloe what's it like in Ireland?" Shawn asked
"The weather is shite, the people are alright most are sound, the drink is great and it can be really pretty sometimes" I explained
"God she sounds so Irish" Aaron laughed
"Do I?" I laughed confused
"Well obviously you sound Irish but it's the way you talk" Aaron explained
"Oh" I laughed
"So any fellas?" Wayne winked
"No" I looked down trying not to think of Jay and thankfully my phone started ringing,
"Who is it?" Taylor asked
"It's my best friend back home FaceTiming me" I answered
"Answer it here" Owen leaned forward
"Okay" I laughed before answering the call
(Bold - Chloe)
* "Helloooooo bitch!" Rebecca said the minute I answered the call
"Hey"
"So how is everything?" She asked smiling
"Good so far but I miss you"
"I miss you too" she pouted
"How's everything back home?"
"Everything's Good we all miss you it's weird not having you around"
"Look I better go but I'll talk to you soon bye love you"
"Love you"

When I hung up the call I went back talking to the boys about Ireland and soon the bell was ringing so Thomas walked me to my locker and then to my next class.
The day went on like that and at lunch I actually sat with Erin, Caroline, Devin, Carla and Andrea and I got good friends with them, they're in most of my classes as well so it made the day so much easier.

It was the end of the day and I was sat in the car while Thomas said bye to his friends. He got into the car and began to drive
"So how was your first day?" He asked glancing over at me
"I love it here" I smiled big "thank you for helping me out today Thomas"
"Good and it's no problem and call me Tommy, everyone else does" he smiled back at me
"I'm sorry about Wayne asking if you had a boyfriend" he apologised
"It's okay he wouldn't have know " I shrug
"I hope you don't mind me asking and you can tell me to fuck off if you want, but what happened?" He asked keeping his concentration on the road
"Basically I was in love with a guy back home and we were together but 2 days before I came over here I caught him cheating on me and he told me he didn't love me anymore and it broke my heart" I explained looking at my hands
"I'm so sorry" Tommy said grabbing my hand to comfort me.

When we got back we had dinner and I called my mum and brother and then we all just sat in the sitting room watching movies. I was sat beside Tommy and he kept whispering stupid things in my ear to make me laugh and his parents kept looking at us weird but I didn&5 care because they would smile right after.
When I decided to go to bed Tommy said he was going to go as well so we walked upstairs together and we said goodnight before going into our separate rooms. I got changed into my pyjamas and I plugged in my headphones to listen to some music. I sat at my window seat and thought about Jay, I wondered what he was doing right now, was he sleeping with another girl? could he be missing me the same way I miss him? Definitely not....
