Chapter 16 - Kyle

Chloe's P.O.V
I was in the big dance hall with Rebecca organising things for our big school dance, we were looking at pictures to display at the dance when Rebecca nudged me
"Look" she nodded towards the picture she was holding, it was a picture from the end on mine and Jay's dance at the showcase "ye look so in love" she smiled
"I never seen that picture before, Cameron was right you really could see how we felt about each other" I laughed
"Well who is that adorable couple" I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist
"Hey" I smiled looking up at Jay
"Hey" he smiled and kissed me
"Why can't we be as cute as them?" Rebecca looked at Barry
"Come on we're cute too" Barry spun her around in the chair before kissing her
"You're only saying that because you want a full area of pictures dedicated to you" She rolled her eyes laughing
"How'd you know?" He asked pretend shocked
"So I was wondering" Jay pulled my attention away from the two
"Wondering what?" I looked at him
"Do you know of any girl that would like to go to the dance with me?" He faked a look of thought
"Hmm, I'm not sure" I pretended to think
"There is this really beautiful girl that I'd love to accompany me" he smirked
"Really who?" I asked Smiling
"Chloe, would you please come with me to the school dance?" He looked into my eyes
"I would love to" I smiled before he kissed me
"Ok we better go to class I'll see you later, come on Barry" Jay called.
Barry and Jay left and Rebecca and I got on with our work organising the dance and about an hour later I went to the studio to work on my singing.
When I walked in Kyle was in there rehearsing, Kyle is the schools new Jay, he's the fuckboy,
"Oh sorry" I apologised starting to walk out
"No it's ok I'm just finishing up" he motioned for me to come in, I sat on one of the chairs waiting for him to leave,
"You're Jays girl right?" He asked turning around to look at me
"That would be me" I laughed
"So how did you get the schools biggest fuckboy to settle down?" He laughed
"I made him realise he had a heart" I joked
"Well" he started to walk towards me "maybe you could help me realise that I have a heart" he smirked taking a hold of my hand
"Sorry but like you said, I'm Jays girl" I pulled my hand away and stood up
"Pity, I can definitely see what he sees in you" He looked me up and down
"Maybe you could stop undressing me with your eyes" I raised an eyebrow
"Would you prefer if I undressed you with my hands" he smirked backing me into the wall behind me
"You need to get the fuck away from me" I pushed him away
"You don't really want that though do you?" He places his hand by my head
"Trust me I do" I squinted at him
"Maybe you should give this a chance" he leaned in and licked his lips
"What the fuck?!"
I looked over and saw Jay standing at the door, Kyle backed away slowly smirking,
"Jay-" I began but he just left the room and I ran after him
"Jay stop" I caught up to him and pulled on his arm
"No! What the fuck Chloe?!" He pulls his arm out of my hand
"Look it's not what you think! He came on to me and i was telling him to fuck off! I can't believe you would think I would do that to you!" I furrow my eyebrows
"You did it to Cameron didn't you?!" He shook his head
"I can't believe you would throw that in my face....I didn't do anything with you until Cameron broke up with me and you know that! You didn't even know how I felt until I told you after he broke up with me! I can't believe you're acting like this!" I raised my arms "if you really believe I'd do that to you then maybe we shouldn't be doing this" I looked down
"Yeah maybe we shouldn't" he spat,
I looked at him as tears brimmed my eyes,
"Wait-" he started as realisation hit him but I cut him off
"Don't! Just leave me alone" I shook my head as I walked and then ran away from him.
I skipped classes for the rest of the day hiding in the toilets that no one used, my phone kept pinging with notifications from Jay, Rebecca and Barry so I turned it off. I cried for what felt like forever and just when I thought I couldn't cry anymore more tears fell. Did Jay and I really break up? Was it even a break up? I felt so confused but my thoughts were interrupted by the toilet door swinging open,
"Chloe" Rebeccas eyes saddened when she seen me "I've been looking for you for ages" she ran to my side immediately pulling me into her,
"Jay is freaking out you know, he knows he fucked up" she smoothed my hair
"He thought I was cheating on him Becca, without even a second thought, he just assumed like he doesn't even know me and he even threw back what happened with Cameron in my face" I sniffed
"Look he was just shocked and mad" he pulled away from me "he loves you and he is freaking out" she smiled at me "I think you should go talk to him" she nodded
"It's the end of school, he's gonna be gone home" I shook my head
"I have a feeling he hasn't" she smiled.
I got up off the floor and cleaned myself up and walked out of the bathroom, the school was pretty much empty and Rebecca left so I could find and talk to Jay alone. I walked to his locker but he wasn't there, I checked the dance halls and recording rooms but he was nowhere to be found, I gave up and walked towards the exit and when I opened the doors and began to walk down the steps I noticed Jay sitting on the bottom step with his head in his hands. I walked down the last few steps and stood in front of him, he looked up and his eyes widened when he saw me, he stood up and wrapped his arms around me and mumbled a whole load of sorrys and 'I love yous' in my ear. I pulled away and looked at him,
"It's ok, but I just can't believe you thought I would do that to you" I shook my head
"Look, I know you're not that kind of girl, it's just, I can't believe how lucky I got to get you and I'm so afraid of losing you because I love you and I didn't think I would ever love a girl but you changed that. I know I shouldn't have assumed but you are the most gorgeous girl I've ever laid my eyes on and I know other lads think it to and I know you could get any lad you want" he explains
"I don't want any lad though Jay, I want you" I smile
"And I want you" he rested his forehead on mine
"So can we end this fight now?" I look into his eyes
"Of course" he smiled before pecking my lips
"Oh hell no I want a better kiss than that" I shook my head
"Oh I'm sorry" he smirked before leaning in and kissing me passionately "I love you Chloe"
"And I love you Jay" I smiled
"And Kyle better watch out cause I'm gonna beat the crap out of him" Jay looked around as though he was looking for Kyle
"Try and not get kicked out of the school please" I laughed
"Fine but only for you" he rolled his eyes before kissing me again.
