"She's... She's so cute." Ronnie said, holding the small baby in his arms.
I stood at the back of the delivery room. "I bet."
He walked over to me, cradling her tightly so he didn't drop her. "Look at her, she's fucking adorable."
"What's her name?"
"Willow Grace Radke." He beamed with pride.
"That's adorable." I smiled at the little girl he was holding. "Hi, Willow."
"That's Ash, she's your cool godmother aunt thing. She's amazing. She's gonna watch you when I'm with my band."
"I am?"
"Yeah."
"Go show Chrissy your daughter." I pushed him slightly over to Chrissy.
And that was it. That was Willow's birth.

"Violet, come here." I said to my daughter.
She looked up at me and crawled over. I picked her up. Ronnie smiled, Willow in his arms. "Hi, Violet."
"Won!" She said, stating Ronnie's name. That's all we could get out of her, but Ronnie found it cute.
"Guess who this is? This is my daughter. Her name is Willow."
Willow squealed and waved her arm, almost hitting her dad in the face. "Hi, Willow." I said. "Oh, don't hit your dad, he doesn't like that."
"I don't mind." He said, smiling at her. "She can do whatever she wants."
Violet squirmed in my arms. "Dada?"
"I dunno where he is, sweetheart. I think he's with his band."
"Aww."
Ronnie set Willow down in her carrier and grabbed Violet. "Honey, your dad is in a band. He makes music, he's famous. He's not gonna be home all the time, yeah? It's gonna be the same way with me and Willow. He loves you a lot though, he does this for you."
"Kay." Violet grinned.
"You're fucking adorable." He laughed.
"Fuck?" She asked.
He immediately realized his mistake and his eyes widened. "Ash, I'm so sorry! I just taught Violet how to swear, oh my God, I'm so sorry."
I giggled and took Violent from Ronnie. "It's okay. Not the first time she's heard it, not gonna be the last."
"Oh thank God, you're not mad at me."
"No, of course not. Just be careful around Willow, I don't think Chrissy will be as understanding."
"You're right."
"And don't you have to go there, by the way?"
"Aw, you're right." He kissed my cheek. "Bye, Ash."
"Bye, Ronnie."
He picked up the carrier, made sure Willow was secure, and left my apartment. I laughed. Violet looked at me. "Mama!"
"Hi, baby." I kissed her forehead. "You hungry?"
"Yea."
"Okay." I got a plastic cup of Goldfish and handed it to her.
She squealed and reached for the ground. I set her down and made sure she was okay, then went to fold laundry.

"Hi babe. How was work?" I asked, kissing Max.
"How was work?"
"It's a new thing."
He laughed. "It was good."
"That's good."
"Dada!" Violet came over to Max.
He picked her up and swung her. "Hi, Violet. I heard Ronnie and Willow came over today."
"Yea!"
Max laughed. "That's good. Hey, let's go pick out a toy to play with?"
"Ok!" Violet slowly walked to her room, Max holding her hands and walking with her.
I chuckled and continued flipping through the magazine I was reading. It was Kerrang and I was reading about Escape The Fate. Hm, that's a nice picture of the band. Max looks cute. "Mama?" Violet walked up to me.
"Yes, sweetheart?"
"Dada said it's yours." She held out a black velvet box.
I took it and opened it, and my jaw dropped. It was the most beautiful engagement ring I had ever seen. Max came into the room, knelt on his knees, and took my hands. "Ash. I love you, so much. I love everything we have done together, and I can't wait to love everything else we can possibly do together. I want to spend the rest of my life to you, I want you to be mine forever. I've known you for so long and I can't imagine my life without you and our lovely daughter, Violet. Please be mine forever and marry me?"
I nodded. "Ye-Yeah."
He scooped me up into a hug. "I love you."
"I love you too." I kissed him, tangling my hands into his hair.
