"I heard they're on tour."
"Yeah, I'm fucking bored." I groaned into the phone. "They're not here and you're in here. I have no one to talk to."
"I'm sorry?"
"Yeah. It's stupid. I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize."
"Oh. Okay." I sighed. "I've been clean for a few months, from drugs. Not smoking or alcohol, but crack and shit."
"I'm proud of you."
"Thanks. It's well, because, I got in a car crash, and-"
"What?"
"Oh, didn't tell you that."
"The hell?" Ronnie asked.
"I was on my way to visit Anthony. I was high. And a car hit me. I was fucking listening to When I Go Out, I Want To Go Out On A Chariot Of Fire."
"That's not fucking funny."
"No. They found out I was high while driving, made me go to rehab. But I mean, I'm clean. I'm getting there. You said you wanted me to be."
"Yeah. How's my car?"
"Max got it fixed, don't worry."
"Thank God."
"Don't care about me?"
"I want my car to be fixed, Ash."
"I know." I laughed.
"Seeing anyone?"
"Maybe."
"Who?"
"Guess you'll have to find out when you're out, Ronnie."
"Oh, come on!"
"Make you be on good behavior." I smirked at him.
"Goddamnit."
"Well, I should go." I grinned. "Bye, Ronnie."
"Ugh. Bye, Ash."

I was sitting there, folding my laundry. Like a responsible adult would. I'm twenty three now, I mean. I should probably be doing adult stuff. Like paying taxes, and grocery shopping. Fuck. I needed to go grocery shopping. The background track to my chores was Escape The Fate's new album, This War Is Ours. Suddenly, I was picked up and flipped upside down. "Ash!" Was the screaming voice from the person holding me.
I recognized that voice. Hell, I recognized those hands on my legs. "Craig!"
He set me down on the couch and sat on top of me. "I missed you!"
I reached up and kissed him. "I missed you too. Babe!"
"Hi!" He slid his hands up to my cheeks. "I've got the whole world in my hands again."
I fucking melted into those words, like, I put them in a special place in my heart. "Craig."
"The whole band is back, do you wanna-"
"In a minute." I reached up again and kissed him. His hair fell into my eyes and I laughed. "Craig, babe."
"Hey, Ash."
"Come on, they'll think I kidnapped you."
He stood up. "I'll give you a piggy back ride."
I hopped onto his back and laughed. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." He carried me downstairs. "Guys, look who I found!"
"Hey, Ash!" Max ran over, pulled me off of Craig's back, and hugged me. "You been clean?"
"Still going strong." I grinned at him. "How was the UK?"
"Awesome. But I would've liked it better if you came."
"That our girl?" Monte asked.
"It's my girl." Craig laughed and Monte and I high-fived each other.
Robert and Omar waved at me. "Hi."
"So, like, do you guys want my help, or...?"
"Go ahead and be with your girlfriend." Max smiled.
Craig took my hand and pulled me upstairs to my apartment. He closed the door and started kissing me. "Fuck, I missed this." He whispered.
"Yeah, me too." I kissed him, making up for the four months we lost.
His hands slid under my shirt. "Babe."
"Yes, okay." I ripped his shirt off.
He kissed my collarbone. "I don't think I'll be able to control myself."
"That's okay." I smirked, undoing his pants.
"I want you."
"Then take me."
