"You're so beautiful." Max kissed my neck.
I laughed. "What's this about?"
"In a month you're gonna be in a white dress-"
"It's not all white, it's black too."
"In a month you're gonna be in a partly white dress, with people looking at you, assuming you're pure. Even though we all know you're not, out beautiful daughter came from what many people would consider a sin with Ronnie. But people will assume you're pure, and this is our last chance where we're alone where we can do this, so..."
"Oh." I grinned, tangling my hands in his hair. "I like where this is going."
"I know you do." He pulled my shirt off and planted kisses down my torso until he reached my stomach. "And Ronnie took Violet, her and Willow are having a play date."
"Wow, you planned this all out."
"Yes, I did." His lips were warm and soft. He quickly stood up and wrapped my legs around his torso. He carried me to our bed. "I love you."
"I love you." I whispered. I got his shirt off. "So much."
"I know."

"So, tomorrow's the day." Ronnie grinned. "Exciting."
"Yeah."
"What's the matter?"
"Nothing, just... If I tell you this, you can't tell anyone. Promise?"
"I promise. I love secrets." He hopped onto the counter.
"I'm pregnant."
"How far along?"
"A month."
He laughed. "Last night before the wedding?"
"Yeah."
"And you thought you'd be fine."
"Yep."
"I hope it's a boy." Ronnie said. "Then they'll have a boy to hang with."
I studied him. "You just wanna teach him how to get girls!"
"Hey, he could be gay, or bi. Then I'll teach him how to get guys, too."
"You're ridiculous."
"You love me."
"Debatable."
"You have to make sure everything is ready, right?"
"You're the maid of honor, isn't that your job?"
Ronnie sighed. "I gotta go."
I laughed and kissed his cheek. "Bye, Ronnie. See you tomorrow."
"Bye."
