"Here, I got you guys this." Ronnie handed me a box.
I raised my eyebrows and accepted it. "Okay."
"Open it!"
"Jesus, okay." I opened it and smiled. "Is that..."
"I made him a mini jacket from the Good Girls Bad Guys video. But that's not all."
I lifted the tissue paper and laughed at the pile of CDs. "Did you just get Nathan his own collection of all the ETF and Falling In Reverse CDs?" I dug through them. "Pierce The Veil, Sleeping With Sirens, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills... You're ridiculous."
"Yes, I did. And when he's born I'm getting him his own CD player."
"Okay, Ronnie."
"Hey. At least I didn't get your daughter a container of baby clothes-"
"Yes, you fucking did! Did the box of Falling In Reverse and Escape The Fate clothes mean nothing?"
"Wasn't just me." He muttered. "The bands pitched in too."
I kissed his cheek. "Still love you."
"Do you?"
"Yes."
"Good. I'm hungry. Let's take the motorcycle and grab food."

*flashback*
"So, once you have kids-"
"I'm fifteen, you dumb fuck, and I'm not gonna have kids."
"Mhm." Ronnie said. "But once you do, promise you'll never be like our parents."
"I promise... If you do, too."
"I made that promise when I was five."
"Good." I hugged him.
"Huh." He hugged back. "Hey. Max."
"What're you two talking about?"
"Not becoming our parents."
"Don't become your's or Ronnie's parents. They're shit."
"My dad wasn't so bad." I replied.
"No, he wasn't. But he's dead, love."
"Yeah, I know."
He kissed my hair. "If you ever wanna talk about it and don't wanna talk to Ronnie, slip over to my house. He'll cover for you, no matter how late at night it is. I'm always awake. Besides, I find talking about it is better then holding it in. I know how you feel."
I nodded. "Thanks, Max."
"Of course. Ronnie, we gotta go."
"Right. See you later." Ronnie said, grabbing a sweatshirt and running out.
I looked at them. "Okay. Bye."
