My voice cracks and my heart fills with joy but a part of it is confusion. "What? How do you know?" He asks confused himself which turns into excitement.
"The lady and Moon estates told me, I think we need to go there, they are stirring something up and I can feel it! Something isnt right and we need to go there. I think it will be good for us."
"Lets take a test first to confirm it!"
"Dean it doesnt work like that remember? I cant pee until four months into the pregnancy, even then I dont have symptoms, not until sixth but then I will start showing, so we are just going to have to wait and see."
"All of your pregnancys are different though! So what if you could pee today?"
"Dean the begining of it is always the same, so lets just go check it out, I really am anxious too, we just really need to find a place to stay because if I am you know how I get and I dont want to be on the road."
"Okay, we will go check it out but if it is too cocky for me then we will have to keep looking." His eyes are so soft and I can see he is desperate and he really wants for me to be pregnant, but I just dont feel any different like with my previous ones, I could always tell when I was, but now I dont feel it. I give him a strong kiss and his hand braces itself on the small of my back so my waist is against his. "I love you so much." He whispers, smiling to him and staring down at his beautiful lips my eyes flick up to his.
"I love you too." Giving him one more small kiss he hops into his car and me into mine." Plugging in Black Moon road it routs us a twenty minute drive, shrugging I take the lead of our cars. Turning up my music, not disney music I sing happily to it. Everything seems to fade away, all my worries, we are here now and we can be safe together. And if this crazy lady really is right, and I am pregnant then that is just one more step to a larger family. It can be one more step to recovering, I need to find peace, I can never move on from the loss of my baby girl but I can at least accept that it happened and find peace.
But her grave! We didnt say good bye! Oh dang it, I am horrible at this, I want my little girl to know that I still love her, I suck at being a mother, I am too uptight, I dont think I say I love you to Addie very much. I am so selfish I dont know if another baby is good if I cant even show my love to one of them anymore. Tears well up in my eyes, should I have gotten pregnant so young? Well to alot of people it would have been a definite no, but I didnt regret it at the time i enjoyed every minute of it.
You know what I need to stop living in the past, this is the present and I need to suck it up and accept that I might be having a baby. Shaking my head I listen to the GPS speak. "Your destination is on the left. You have arrived at your destination." She says, mimmicing her in an annoying tone I turn left up to the giant freaky looking gate. Pressing the call button on the lock box the voice immediatly booms.
"Sloan! Come on in!" The gates creak open, turning down my music I drive right through past all the beautiful senery, I would have never found this place because it is practically hidden by all the trees, even the gates and lock box blend in. Pulling through the gate is a beautiful opening with pebbled roads and a giant fountain with a wolf howling towards the sky and water shooting out of his mouth into the pond bellow.
Five men and a young woman come walking up to us, the woman has a bright smile on her face and they all wear very formal suits. Getting out of my car Dean, Addie, and Carry meet up next to me. Addie reaches up towards me and I slowly pick her up. "Welcome! To moon estates! You must be Sloan!" She says with a giant grin on her face, she holds out her hand and I shake it weakly, she has a firm grip. "Im Immira and these are some of my sons. Brice, Sam, Kenny, and Boe, the rest of them are preparing for our monthly picnic." She seems a bit young to have sons, especially with them being as old as they are, they look around Deans age, or maybe even older? She looks so young, like my age.
