The plan

They were just standing there and staring into each others eyes. to shocked, or scared to say anything. Nightmare finally opened his mouth to speak again. An arrow suddenly shot inches away from his face, startling him and drooping Y/n in the progress. She was quickly scooped up in some arms and dragged a safe away from Nightmare. the mystery person holding her was Ink. his expression stern while he stared daggers at Nightmare. Dream stood next to him, bow drawn and ready to fire again if needed. his expression was stern, but Y/n could see he did not want to hurt his brother. Nightmare eye were only on her, eyes filled with desperation. Y/n tried to say something, anything that could help the situation. but Ink's stare got her to stay quiet.

"Stay away from her Nightmare" Dream warned, grip tightening around the bow. Nightmare's tentacles twitched and his hang griped into tight fists. "We don't know what you are planing, or why you need her, but we won't allow anything to happen. either to her or an AU." Ink continued the warning. Placing the female in his grip down and standing protectively in front of her. Nightmare seemed ready to attack or defend himself. "ARE EVERYONE OKAY DOWN THERE?" Blue's loud voice were just made stronger by the small space they were standing in. everyone's focusing from the hole Y/n had previously made her escape from the battle between Error and Blue. Looking back to where Nightmare was standing to only see he had disappeared.

"Glad that's over" Dream announced lowering his bow clearly glad he wouldn't have to attack his brother. The three of them got out and up to Blu to discuss Nightmare's reasoning. cause of action, how to keep Y/n safe and out of Nightmares reach and any reason Nightmare was after her. however, the human stayed quiet in her own thought.

Being back in her safe space made her begin to think. Why Nightmare had that look on his face, was it happiness in his voice when he spoke to her, was there something he wanted to tell her, he clearly remember who she was, wouldn't he had killed her by know it that was what he wanted. She could feel herself doubting Ink, Dream and Blue. was they lying about Nightmare? Dream seem really set on not hurting his brother when they met, and she could hear the sorrow when he told what happened to their AU. everything was so confusing from the start, and this did not help to make anything clearer.

She felt a tiny spark of determination light within her. the truth had to be found out. the need to speak with nightmare was stronger than ever. needing to have both side of the story. knowing if and why he did it. She really wanted to talk to him again, and for everything to go back to what it was. maybe it could be fixed by talking to him. She knew she could not reason and convince Ink and the others to let her speak to Nightmare. her only other way was to get "captured" and brought to him. after being awake for a whole night, she had a plan.

Blue cam to apologize for putting her in danger the next day and begged for forgiveness. "You didn't know this would happen Blue" she said while trying to calm him down. "HUMAN, I PUT YOU IN DANGER. IT WAS MY FAULT NIGHTMARE CAUGHT YOU. WHO KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF INK AND DREAM NEVER CAME!" He was slightly shaking and on the verge of tears. she quickly hugged him close "How Can I Become A Royal Guard If I Can't Keep You Safe" he sniffed while hugging her back. "I said it was okay Blue. Hey, what if we go back to your AU and finish your tour" her smile seemed a bit strained and she sounded a bit more hopeful that for some people it would have sounded fake.

"AFTER WHAT JUST HAPPEN THERE!" Blue exclaimed shocked while breaking the hug to look at her. "Yeah" she answered still with fake cheerfulness. He seemed to be doubting her, if the plan had to work then she had to get him to take here somewhere. "Or we can continue it in another AU. they look pretty similar from what you guys have told me." he seem to still be doubting her, but lighten up by the thought of another AU. "And I DO have the magnificent Blueberry to keep me safe" He thought over his options again before nodding with a bright smile. "OKAY. I WILL NOT FAIL YOU THIS TIME HUMAN" the plan was on track

The two of them venture through another AU. there wasn't that many monsters in waterfall that could notice you and Blue. always hiding when stumbling onto someone to not confuse why there was two of Sans or a human venturing in the underground. She had to admit that Waterfall was beautiful. Y/n began falling longer and longer behind Blue while he went on about his little tour until she had lost him and ran the other way. The pain of betraying and letting the sweet skeleton panic shot through her soul like thousand bullets, but she could not come up with any other ways to see Nightmare. Being to lost in thought and guilt made her not realizing the shadow approaching her from behind. A familiar knife were suddenly pressed against her neck and another over her mouth. "Well hello there doll~" came the purring broken voice of Dust next to her ear. this situation was all to familiar an equally scary.

I promises that next time reader and Nightmare will have a proper meeting. Just needing to have her doubting what she have heard about him and hawing the need to meet him while not being scared.
