introduction

Darkness still filed the girls vision when she woke up. tiredly taking off the book that was the only cover she had of the previously night. slowly getting out of sleep while tiredly trying to find out where she was. after some time she finally realized it was a book blocking out the morning light. slowly taking in the book up and scanning the surrounding. she was in a room. but where. mind slowly awaking for her to realize she was in the room Nightmare had assigned to her. Smile forming on her face but the thought. not regretting her decision to stay after a good night sleep in the super comfy bed. she laid her book next to the ice cold cup of tea before stretching her tired limbs and letting out a yawn.

Not long after a someone was knocking softly on the door. "come in" she called out tiredly. the door slowly opened to reveal Nightmare and a plate of breakfast. "Morning. thought you would like some breakfast. I would have just shown you the dining hall. but then I realized that it would probably not be a good idea thanks to the others..." he said while walking over and sitting next to her on the bed and giving the plate. she gladly took it and happily ate the waffle breakfast. a comfortable filled the room. "I had a meeting with the others yesterday. It should be safe for you to wander around the castle. Thinks it's a good idea to introduce you to them." she placed the plate next to her cold cup of tea. "that sound like a good plan for today. maybe you could give me a tour of the caste." a giggle left her mouth "did you use the old design you made when we was younger?" smiling teasingly that made Nightmare blush and lightly showing her shoulder before letting out a chuckle.

The corridors were large and tall. banners with familiar prints hung high up next to windows that helped light the hallways. a royalty red carpet filed the floors. Nightmare explained what was inside each door they passed by and answered mostly every question Y/n had. the girl excitedly took in everything and would sometimes sprint down a corridor. making Nightmare slightly panic before running after her. they had stopped with a large painting Y/n wanted to study where a bad joke had broken out that made both of them laugh."What, Nightmare can laugh? you had to be joking with me right now" both of them turned toward the sound to see a skeleton walking towards them. the girl immediately froze while her hand subconsciously ran over the the tin scar on her neck.

Dust eyes followed the hand. "Think I might want to apologies for that before Nightmare can behead me. sorry" it didn't sound apologetic more than sly, but she still accepted the apology. "what, not gonna introduce me to your lady?" his grin stretch an impossible length seeing his face erupting in a blush while the girl next to him got a small one of her own. "were just good friends" she answered seeing that Nightmare had frozen up. "I'm... I'm Y/n. and like I just said, I'm just an old friend of Nightmare" Dust continued to grin while she spoke. "well, names Dust. the one that have pressed a knife to your throat more than one time. terrible sorry on who I treated you when I brought you over here. If I knew you relationship with Nighty I would have treated you differently." he said with a wink before just disappearing down the corridor toward where he was headed in the first place. "when he seemed... nice?" Nightmare quickly got back on track and began walking again. "don't compliment him"

the next room was a sitting area where. or the relaxing room that the guys called it. when the entered two other skeleton. one looked like he was sleeping while the other one was looking at the TV picture box. "This is the girl you were so set to get Nightmare?" Cross asked. eyes looking away from the TV. Nightmare just nodded and the girl introduced herself. "Nice to meet ya" Killer raised and slightly waved as a greeting and showing that he was awake. "Looks like we get another roommate. didn't sound like that you would be leaving anytime soon?" killer opened only one eye when he spook. she could feel his eye scanning over her, even if he didn't have any pinpricks. only a puddle off a dark voice. slightly shaking her head to confirm his claim.

"Who do you two actually know each other? thought Nightmare was a bruting though, dark and mysterious loner. newer thought he would actually make a friend seeing who his AU went down?" Cross curiosity looked over the couch. body fully turned toward the back of the couch. "We just stumbled on each other and began taking which lead to our friendship." she explained. "I kinda get that part, but why would he destroy the AU if you were there" Killer but inn. not scared to ask this question thanks to Nightmare sudden mildness around the human girl. "forgot to show you where the kitchen was" The sudden stiffness of the girl didn't go unnoticed by neither of the other two skeletons, but they let it slide as they watch their boss and the human leave the room.

"I have actually no id-" "Nightmare." a slightly broke voice cut Nightmare of from answering a question as Error made his way over. "Error" the girl sat the weird statue she had asked about that apparently Dust had dragged in the castle and would not throw away. Error swiftly introduced himself to her before continue talking to Nightmare "We need to discuss some happenings." realization crossed Nightmare face. "Lets go to the meeting room, do we need the others?" Error shocked his head. "maybe later." the two skeleton began walking before one release something. "Do you know the way back to your room?" Nightmare asked, wich got a nod and a smile back. "Go and do what you need to Nightmare"

The two parted ways and Y/n thought to herself who relaxed and less scary the other skeleton was when they wasn't actively hunting her down. hoping that other interactions with them would go as smooth as today.
