The girl was a bit cautious walking out of her room the next morning. still a bit embarrassed and flustered of the previous day. It would be hard to look Nightmare in the eyes. biting her tongue she began walking down toward the kitchen. breakfast was first on her daily task right now. filling the long halls with the sound of her walking that echoed down the halls. It was newer hard to know if someone was coming if unless someone was talking in the corridors. She entered the kitchen, it was actually her first time she did not getting lost in the halls, and opened the fridge to get something to eat. sitting down on the large dinner table when she had finished up making her favorite kind of sandwich.

Cross joined her halfway through her first sandwich. sitting down on the chair in front of her and sipping on a cup of coffee. the plat of two untouched sandwiches was extended out to him which got a 'thanks' in respond as he picked one up and began eating. She believed he had a grudge against her for quite some time thanks to her relationship to Nightmare. the skeleton did not hid his hatred toward his boss and could often been seen relaxing back in the castle if the task in hand didn't involve destroying any AUs. They became more mutual and he seemed to make his own opinion when they shared a conversation about their destroyed AU. He had HOPE on getting his put back to together and she admired that. feeling sad for him and his loss. knowing she would fight for her AU as well if someone she cared about was left in the destruction.

there continued to be a comfortable silent as more skeleton entered and some left shortly after getting what they needed. in the end Dust, Cross and the human was just chatting over their empty plates that they were all too lazy to put in the sink. Nightmare suddenly came in the room and both side froze a bit up before averting their gaze and continuing what they were doing. Nightmare quickly grabbed something from the fridge before disappearing from sight. "Ooooo~ what was that about?" Dust quickly commented the moment Nightmare was gone. She wasn't capable to hold her blush back when the memory popped back. "just... there was ... there was just something a bit of embarrassing that happening yesterday" she confessed knowing that Dust would just keep goin. Which in turn go Dust to jump up with more energy you had ever seen him. "have to go. I will not throw away this opportunity to annoy boss" then he teleported away.

Cross shifted in his seat so he was leaning forward toward the table instead of leaning back in his chair. "Is it really something that embarrassing that you can't look him in the eye? did you like, see him naked or something?" that thought got her face to burn hotter than ever. "God, no! nothing like that" she scratched while waving her hands. "then why not just talk it out. get away all the embarrassing tension if it was just something small." Was it that small? it would be nice to not keep this atmosphere for months on end. "I will, thanks for the advise Cross" he half heatedly waved before getting up and walking toward the living room.

It wasn't hard to find were Nightmare was thanks to the chatter of another skeleton. It seemed like the skeleton had tried to retreat into the throne room where large maps, papers and books liters the table. It was way too much to understand all the plans and notes. their back was turned so they did not know the extra present in the room. "I told you if you hold you life close you should drop it" Nightmares voice was stern compared to the light and jokingly tone of Dust at the moment. She didn't catch what his response was, only that Nightmare may have been on the verge of strangling Dust when she called out and made her present cleat.

Both of their eyesight met your form. Dust gave you his signature grin before turning to leave. "Guess that's my cue to leave." he lightly elbowed Nightmare and winked before strolling out. Nightmare held his blush as he turned away and looked down in the the table. "Something you wanted to say" his voice was quieter than usual. "I want to talk about what happened" she stepped closer to him until she was one feet behind him. "what about it" Nightmare finally turned and his eye stared at her with that emotion she could never quiet place. "I just don't want to have this embarrassing and awkward tension between us. I just want to forget about this and move on" He looked hurt for a moment,if she had just blinked she would have missed it. He was holding something back while he spoke, slowly turning toward her "I... I want that as well... um, hug it out?" his arms stretched out and he gave her the smile he kept only for her. "Hug it out" opening her own arms and accepting his embrace. relaxing his head on her head while she rested hers on his chest. both not wanting to let go.
