lightening the mood

They were suppose to throw away some time ago, but both the Y/n and Nightmare could still feel it in the air. the girl couldn't stop thinking on who to move their focus on something else. she slowly walked the halls and corridors while thinking. a book that she were supposed to read that was just being dragged around from room to room in this moment. there had happened such much hardship when she went to actually think about it. and she had gotten the need to do something to lighten the mood for everyone.

"DUST! I swear to whatever god there is in this world." The screaming and angry tone of voice made her stop before heading back to the entrees of the living room which seems to be the root of the screaming. "Awwwe, don't be like that Error. I think it quiet suits you~" walking in the doorway she see a pissed off and soaked to the bone Error, what a bunch of silly colored strings hanging around on his body. "Don't be so mad, that prank was for Cross. but water the odds that you got to it first." An idea popped inside the girls head before she ran off to start her new found plan to lighten the mood.

It was not the most creative one out there, but there was a fun on. she had placed a bucket on top of the library door. knowing that Nightmare was the only one actually going through them than teleport to a seat or opening a portal. Just as she suspected, Nightmare had pushed the door open while he walks in to the room. stopping to see if she was there only to be greeted by her grinning madly like Dust in her favorite chair. before he could ask what she was grinning for, something his him. She knew that the water in the bucket would be uncreative, so she put flour in it instead. knowing that it would probably hard for nightmare to wash out. He just stood there occasionally blinking and looking shocked over at the giggling girl. a grin slowly forming together with a dark look. "it's on"

"Dust, Killer! I may have done a terrible mistake." the girl said while bursting into the living room. "Where's the fire?" Killer asked, still half laying in a chair. "I may, or may not have started a prank war against Nightmare and knowing him he will get Error on his side as well. So I have come her in hopes of making an alliance with you two." they want quiet as they both thought it over. "I'm honored you came to us for aid, and since I'm already on Errors bad side today, I'm in~" Dust said. Killer chuckled before agreeing as well. "have any plans, or are going in blind and hoping for the best?" Killer asked. the girl grinned before walking over and sitting down with the skeletons, "Of course I have a plan." together they made a great plan with simple pranks, lots of glitter and flour.

The tree of them began trapping the whole castle whit simple and stupid pranks. She knew had picked the right teammates, especially when she saw both of them had a box filled with classic prank product. that lead to the house having a whoopee cushion under nearly every seat, some silly string or whipped cream traps back every type of doors, doorknobs giving a bit of an electric shock, and much more. Lets just say Cross left for the day to not get caught in any of this. at the same time trying to dodge trip wires that would activate water balloons filled with paint, sudden puzzle traps that was a pain to get out of, buckets filled with water and Nightmare suddenly jump scaring you which lead to you walking around with a can of whipped cream or something you could get back at him with.

lets just say the castle was a mess in the end. Nightmare laughed he sat down next to the girl. the goopy substance all over his body was filled with flour, glitter and paint which would probably stay for a week until he got everything off. the girl was no different with paint stain and soaked to the bone. he was used to 'toy' with people from different AUs he destroyed so he was glad to get some of that part he found fun in a more milder and less murderous way. not with any screams of terror or being left with negativity instead of positivist. The castle had a lot more lighter atmosphere since the girl showed up. "Guess this ended in a tie" she said as she laid her head on his shoulder. a glimpse of his hidden mischievous side shone in his eye. "You thought this was the end? this is only round one." he said smirking.

Not my favorite chapter, but I feel like this book need a little break from all the angst. just a lighter and a bit shorter chapter this time. just didn't have much time to write this week.
