Feelings

Nightmare was pacing back and forth in his room. Right after that little... accident, that happened he had brought them back home. the intense atmosphere of the accidental kiss left them boost flustered and quiet. Nightmare tried his best to flee to his room before anyone saw him in all his flustered glory. All he could think of was the feeling of their soft lips pressed into his. a clouded look on his face as he ran his finger over his teeth were her lips had been not so long ago.the warm feeling in his chest only spreading.It waste that long ago he found out what the warm and pleasant feeling inn his chest was. he had denied it from the beginning,but now he began to embrace it. He had fallen for his best friend.

The only reason denying it at the start was because he couldn't believe a vessel of negative emotion like himself could feel love, especially since the dark apple incident. before that he remember positive emotions like smiling and laughing. Happy memories shared with his brother that he didn't fight with and his best and only friend that saw past his title. He had felt so numb after she died and after he destroyed his home. there was some moment he had to admit when he would let out a chuckle or smile, but not as much he did when he reunited with Y/n.

It wasn't long after he had seen her this already suppressed feelings form when he was younger came back. that warm feeling that never felt like he was burning, only getting cozy next to a fireplace when the thought our was around her. a weird crawling feeling that feels like butterflies was trapped in his rib cages each time he saw her. his soul leap each time he heard her laugh or saw her smile. that feeling only intensified when it was directed at him. He had this burning need to protect her, to keep her safe and not fail like he did last time. to sit next to her and just read every book in existent. follow her on those adventures she loved. to not let her light extinguished form her eyes.

This was so stupid. he was stupid. Why did he fall in love with her! he secretly knew why... she was beautiful, fantastic, caring, supportive and much, much more. He quickly fell back on the bead and let out a frustrated growl. He had to suppress this feelings for her. what if they actually got together. he actually liked that thought. to hold hands, to cuddle, to kiss, to... Nightmare quickly slaps himself before he let his mind wander to dangerous territory but his blush was still present. he couldn't get together with her, he couldn't risk the consequences that may come. what if they have a huge fight. what if they began hating each other, what if she simply rejects him, what if she loves someone else. he just continued to lay on his bed. feet still connected to the floor, arms outstretched together with the tentacle on his back

Was she still thinking about this incident like he was. had she already forgotten it and gone back to normal. forget this important thing that was plaguing his mind. did she like it? he had never actually kissed somebody before and this was an accidental one but still. he would gladly accept another kiss from her if she offered. Nightmare decided to try and go to sleep. he would usually not sleep at all, but he hoped he had forgotten this and could function normally the next day and track what his brother and the Star Sanses was doing. his head hit the pillow and he was left in thought until he could sleep. His brother and his friends had barely been seen when if he, the other or all of the would go out and spread chaos and negativity. not that they did it as often anymore. seems like everyone liked to stay at home. probably out of laziness because he know he would never gotten distracted by Y/n to forget to send them on missions... probably.

It was still strange of his brother or someone else would come and stop them or try to chase them away from an AU. he would be sure to mention it the next meeting before he set them out on a mission. a bad feeling began building. he felt like something was going to go bad soon.
