Maddie' voice plays in my head 'if I met Shawnie (yes, that is her nickname for him) I would play it cool. Say something or do something memorable...'. I'm sure she would but what would I do? Can I play it cool? I look around trying to locate the annoying girls.

He laughs "I don't see them anywhere. I just hope they won't be too mad at me.". For the first time, I look him in the eyes and it hits me harder than I thought it would. He really is breathtaking. I look away forming a sentence in my head before saying it out loud. "Why would they be mad at you? You do have a right called privacy" I laugh hoping I didn't sound grumpy. He looks at me smiling. I feel hypnotized, till his phone rings.

"Heyy Andrew. What's up, man?

"Yeah I know. Had a bit trouble in the airport, be there in a second"

He hangs up on Andrew who I know is his manager. Hope I'm not the problem. I decide I want to have one last look at Shawn before probably never seeing him again. We are standing pretty close and despite my height, I have to look up to see his face. I can see he has to get going, so I say my goodbye, still nervous and my heart almost sounding higher than my voice.'

'We should probably get going. I mean you should get going to wherever and I should get going to Starbucks'' I take a deep breath knowing I once again screwed up my talking ability. Uhh, that really is an amazing aftershave. I feel the urge to smell my hand where I held his. That sounds so stupid and it DEFINITELY is.

''Yeah your right. Thank you again! I owe you one. It was nice to meet you...''. Is Shawn Mendes asking for my name? My name? Oh my gosh, I have to answer him! ''Jess. My name is Jess''. We say our goodbyes and he puts his hoodie and sunglasses on like no one will recognize him.

Still feeling his hand in mine I go to Starbucks. Him holding my hand is a feeling I surprisingly enough could get used to. Want to get used to.
