(Y/N POV)

Here comes the sun.

"I guess I could come," I whimpered, "although I feel like a whole celebration is a lot for just getting a job."

I was sitting cross-legged on Sarah and Finn's couch, discussing our plan for today. Finn was completely set on having a party or going to a concert, but I didn't feel like doing any of that.

"Why don't we go get coffee?" sarah asked, "it's not as big, and it's enjoyable!"

"I'm okay with that," I said, shrugging.

"Perfect!" She exclaimed, clapping her hands together, "is it okay if we meet at 12:00? I'll send you the location, Finn and I just need to run some errands."

"Yeah, that's cool with me."

"Wonderful!"

I stood up on my two feet, and reached over to grab my sweater that was next to me. I gave them both hugs, and made my way out the door, prepared to find this starbucks we were going to.

Starbucks is known for it's over priced drinks, but I guess it was celebratory to splurge a little. I popped open the car door and slid into the front seat, shoving my keys into the ignition. As I pulled out of the driveway, I waved to the couple on thier doorstep and smiled. It's been a little while since we first met, and we've become closer each day.

The coffee shop was only a couple blocks away, so I parked my car with ease and skipped into the shop. It wasn't very crowded, although I could see a couple people with thier noses shoved into thier laptop.

"How may I help you?" a woman said in front of me.

"I'll have a mocha frappuccino," I muttered, tapping my chin, "and a bacon gouda sandwich."

"I can get the frappe ready for you, but we just sold out of the sandwiches. We have a swiss wrap, if that's okay?"

"Uh, yeah that's fine."

"That will be $8.97," she said, "what's your name?"

"Y/N."

I handed her my credit card, and nodded my head politely. Waiting for my food, I wander off around the store, glancing at the people. None of them seemed to be here for any purpose, they were just here for the leisure of it.

I couldn't quite wrap my head around why spending time at a coffee shop is better than being on your couch. I'm just lazy like that.

My ears perked up as the doorbell jangled, announcing that someone had just arrived at the shop. I expected it to be Finn and Sarah, but it wasn't. A man strode into the line, a baseball cap pulled over his eyes. I was concerned on if he could see with the hat that far down.

He was tall and lanky, but he held his posture up like someone important. I started betting against myself that he was some sleep-deprived frat boy. I couldn't get a good glimpse of his face, but I suppose it would be weird to be staring at him anyways.

"Mocha frappe and swiss for Y/N?"

I stepped forward to grab my stuff, but I could feel the hairs on my back stick up with anxiety. Someone was staring at me. I stared at the floor and swooped off to a table to set down my stuff and looked around. It didn't feel like a good type of stare, it seemed more aggressive and meaningful.

My eyes flitted over to the man with a baseball cap, and I could see the glint in his eyes as he stared straight at me.

Wait.

His dark green eyes.

A wave of panic flashed through me, as a million thoughts rushed through my head. Why was I worried? I bet a million people here have green eyes. Calm down idiot, you're blowing things way out of proportion.

"Black coffee for Aidan," the barista called out.

Okay. maybe I'm not.

OR. there are a million people with dark green eyes who have the very common name Aidan. I still couldn't see thier face clearly so I still had that sliver of hope that I was wrong.

I watched as he grabbed his reusable coffee cup and took off towards the table across from me. He had stopped staring me now, and was now sipping his drink slowly, pulling out his laptop from the black backpack he was carrying.

I fumbled around in my pocket for my phone, and I took a deep breath as I pulled up instagram. As uncomfortable as I was, I needed to find a way to make myself look busy and unbothered.

I looked up from my phone, and noticed the guy in front of me was back at watching my every move. He held up his phone slightly, and smirked, hitting the screen twice.
