70 Days Of Summer

Day 2

I couldn't sleep at all, last night! I kept having flashbacks of Berun and that auburn chick doing whatever they were doing last night. I had dreams of them bowling and ending the night with a casual kiss, or them at a fancy restaurant also ending the night with a casual kiss, but the worst one, the worst one was them at 'Fun Fun Fun Arcade.'That was where Berun and I exchanged our heart to heart feeling talk, and then walked away. Oh my god! What if they're a couple - like a proper couple? Oh god! I grab my cell and text Paige,

BE AT CC IN 10.

I jump out out of bed, slip on my casual green swing dress, brush my teeth, pull my hair into a high ponytail, and run downstairs to find Cassie attacking her toast with a large ball of butter.

"Listen, I have to meet Paige at Cupcake corner, like, right now. I 'll be gone for a while so I 'm going to need around $20." I hurriedly tell my sister.

"KK! Grab it from my purse, Darrell and I are going out for lunch anyways. Make good choices" My sister informs me.

I grab $20 from her bag, then rush out the house with Cassie's shouts,

"Have fun! Be safe! Call me if you need anything"

I start speed walking towards the Cupcake corner, which is literally on the corner of our street and the main street. The street we live on is pretty much houses, restaurants, and random shops nobody knows about. Cassie would die if we lived in one of those fancy pancy private streets, mainly becasue they wouldn't let her band rehearse and our house is the only house the band can use. Darrell lives in one of those villa compounds, Mark the drummer shares an apartment with Glen the backup guitarist (because my sister is lead guitarist), and Gregory the pianist. Those 3 have been childhood friends and are all pretty stupid, so the band is their only hope in life. I barge into the cupcake corner and find Paige sitting on a table with 2 red velvet cupcakes on a plate in front of her. Yum! Our favorite! I sit down in front of her and she speaks,

"Just on time! Now, I'm starving! Let's eat"

Paige picks up a cupcake and stuffs it in her mouth then I tell her about what happened last night, and how I'm freaking out! By the time I finsh, Paige is finishing off my cupcake and then tactfully says,

"Don't worry about it! He's all yours! Obviously, he knows where you live, so maybe he was planning that you would see him with that chick, then you would want him more, and It's really sick but that is how boy's think. Now do you wany a cupcake? I was just very hungry?"

"No thanks" I mumble, I'm starving but I fear that anything I eat will immediately come out on the other end.

"Now tell me more about this "chick. What sort of Auburn hair does she have? Dark auburn or light" starts Paige then suddenely stops, and her eyes bulge out of her face. 

I slowly turn around and see Berun with his hands around that trashy, burlesque girl, and then sharply whip my head back to Paige who is now staring at me.

"Hey Paige and Clara! What's up?" blares a deep handsome, irrestible voice that is getting closer and probably wearing knee length khaki shorts with a light grey t-shirt. Then, that voice appears in front of me with his hands around a beautiful, tall, looking amazing in a studded collare,mint green skater dress just below her knees, 4 inch white wedges, and her hair pulled into a messy bun with a white lace bow to top off the look. Shit! She is hot......but I've never seen her before. I'm 100% sure she does not go to Hilton High, or to any school in the area. Maybe she's just visiting for summer and her and Berun met and....It's probably a summer fling. Just as I'm reassuring myself, I notice Paige and that Auburn chick lock eyes, and Paige suddenly turns beetroot red.
