Aunt Rosie wakes Cassie and I up at 8 am with her never ending, annoying tap of her nails against our pine wood door’s.

“What is it?” I ask irritatingly, my eyes still closed.

“We’re going shopping, and Cassie’s band is coming over at 12 so we’ve got to have an early start to the day. Now get up,” commands Aunt Rosie, already fully dressed. She is wearing a white, lace, DKNY just before the knee dress, 2 inch, bleached white, Chanel wedges, white Bvlgari elbow length, white lace gloves, a Bvlgari diamond necklace and bracelet set, and her hair in a messy yet elegant bun. I jump out of the bed and start to brush my teeth and shower, when Aunt Rosie yells from the room,

“I’ve layed out what your to wear on the bed!”

“Ok” I yell back. I dry myself, and come out to see what she has placed on the bed. A  very old, Dior, lavender halter neck dress and white flat’s from Dior. That outfit is from my 10th birthday party, but of course It has the designer label so It’s acceptable. I must say It’s not bad, besides the fact the dress is way too short and the flats are squeezing my feet. I leave my hair open and place a lavender hairband on my head, then tromp down the stairs. Aunt Rosie glances at me and says rudely,

“Not even Christian can make this look right!”

Cassie is already down in her pastel blue Marc Jacob’s t-shirt which is tight around her almost D chest’s, and a white, pleated, Gucci, little girl themed skirt. She doesn’t look happy and complains,

“Can we go now? I want to be back before the band comes just to.....wear anything other than this. “

“Oh, Cassie! Girl’s don’t complain, they gossip, they giggle, but they do not complain. The car is here,” informs Aunt Rosie, picking up her large, leather, Furla, red statement handbag, and walks to the car. Cassie roll’s her eyes, and I giggle. I nap for the 2 and a half hour ride, while Cassie makes sign language to Aunt Rosie about the band. Once we reach ‘Tanger Village’ which is a luxurious, big designer brand outlet, Aunt Rosie get’s the car parked in valet. We walk around the outdoor outlet, till Aunt Rosie pulls us into a large Burberry shop. She makes Cassie try on a classic Burberry check, knee length, shift dress. Cassie hates It, and picks out a plain black top with the shoulder check design. She waltz out of the dressing room in the t-shirt and underwear smiling, and says,

“Now, this is for me!”

Aunt Rosie chuckles and says,

“Alright then, you can have the t-shirt, but I want to get you the dress for special occasions.” Aunt Rosie picks out Burberry khaki shorts and a check, button up, sleeveless top for me. I actually really like it.

“Now, that is wonderful! What do you think?” asks Aunt Rosie gleefully.

“I actually like it” I say surprised.

“Perfect! Now you girls run along to the till, I need to pick up my moisturizer,” says Aunt Rosie moving to the beauty section. We stand in line at the till counter and Aunt Rosie joins us when we reach the front. My outfit is $250, Cassie’s top is $135, and Aunt Rosie’s moisturizer is $300. What!? Aunt Rosie just smiles casually and hands the cashier her platinum Amex. We walk out the store with a large Burberry bag and hit the rest of the stores. We go to DKNY, Kate Spade New York, Marc Jacobs, Gucci and then board the car back home.
