"The 57th expedition will commence in a week. We will embark outside the walls out of Karanes District." Gathered in the meeting room, the captains and higher ranking troops sat around the long wooden table to come together for a meeting Erwin organized. "Ready your squad. Captain Lahnet, it is your duty to train those who seem unready for the task at hand. I expect every soldier to be mentally and physically prepared when the day comes. Can I trust you with that?"
"Of course, Sir." Giving the commander a firm salute caused the tall blonde man to grin at your reliability.
"You are all dismissed."
"SIR!" The whole room saluted their commander before taking their leave.
"Miss Lahnet." Erwin called before you stepped outside the doorframe.
"Commander?"
"How was the visit back home?" The blonde asked leaning into the table with his hands folded. Levi stayed in his seat as he finished his cup of tea. The two men directed their full attention to you.
"It's was a great opportunity to catch up with my family." Your bright smile warmed their hearts. "I am forever in your debt."
"I'm glad you two enjoyed yourselves." He chuckled but quickly cleared his throat. "I heard that you both have been pursued by someone during your visit, is that correct Lahnet?"
You shot a glance at Levi who was at the moment enjoying his tea, unfazed by the commander's statement. "That is correct, Sir." You sighed.
It took a moment for the the man to formulate a sentence. "Please that care of yourself. We don't want that incident to happen again." Pertaining to your ambush from two weeks ago, Erwin dismissed you out of the room.

"I see you all learned from my warning." Walking back and forth along the line of the new cadets, you mentally counted the members. "What were you all doing when I was gone?"
"Petra Ral trained us ma'am!" Armin shouted out. Although the strawberry blonde girl wasn't here to assist you in training due to her other agendas, you were pleased by the determined attitudes the troops portrayed. The young men looked eager to learn from you today.
"We'll change it up for today." You stood in front of the soldiers. "We'll all head to the dirt grounds to train your body's endurance for upcoming missions. I suggest you all get into sparing pairs." The whole group followed you to the dirt field. A handful of training scouts were all ready occupying some of the space leaving you all with a third of the field. The young group divided themselves into pair and began to spar.
(Armin's POV)
"Hey Eren, I know you guys are still going with your absurd plan but don't you think that's a bit too much?" You barely dodged a jab to your jaw as Eren threw more punches at you.
"Come on Armin..." Eren grunted as he missed his shot. "Why don't you live in the moment. Just watch, it will be fun!"
"I'm not sure... you guys can get in serious trouble." You worried as you threw another punch at your friend. After fourty minutes of nonstop training, you all were getting pretty worn out.
"Captain Lahnet!" Jean called the (h/c) woman who was busy observing her trainees.
"Wait..." Eren turn his head to look at Jean walking towards the captain. "What is the horse face doing? That's not part of the plan!?.."
