(Levi's POV)

"Is every thing alright, Captain?" Mikasa shifted her weight for one leg to the other as you both occupied an abandoned building for the time being. "You've been looking uneasy? Did something happen in there?" She inquired.

It's been a few hours ever since you left Y/N to execute her solo mission but since you regrouped with your subordinate, a strange burning sensation engulfed your mouth. You were concerned if the poison you've nearly consumed were taking it's affect now. Actually you were more concerned with Y/N as she too nearly consumed the contaminated liquid. "Everything is fine." You responded briefly as you bit your cheek to ease the tingling pain. What really weighed on your mind was the sudden appearance of the poison. Memories of Y/N lying in the infirmary flashed through your head as your brow twitched in frustration.

"Captain Lahnet is a strong woman." Mikasa blurted out as she leaned against the wall with her arms crossed over her abdomen. "The fact that she was willing to go out of her way to obtain information under these circumstances is something I respect her for."

(Y/N's POV)

Thankfully the pub was filled with a variety of MP's. Girls from the red light district occupied nearly every corner of the small building. Chattering and gossip filled the atmosphere as the scent of alcohol wafted in the air. A group of drunk soldiers called for you, snapping you out of your trance. A warm smile appeared on your lips as soon as you noticed the group. Striding your way over to the table, a man grabbed you by the hand and pulled you to his lap. Shyly, you sat down. A look of remorse covered your face before shaking your head unnoticeably to a bright mood once more.

"How much?" One man asked as he gulped down the last of his beer, signaling a woman for more.

"Yah, how much did you get paid for the priest?"

Your eyes widened only a bit for your body to notice but you continued to eves drop on the groups conversation. As soon as your full attention was on the solider who was presumably paid for Nick's death, a hand slid up right below your breast. Your breath hitched as you jolted your slightly before the man, whose lap you were on, grazed your neck with his rough stubbles.

"Two hundred." The man in question spoke before shooting a perverted glance at you. "Now, they call it blood money, but I mean you gotta do what he tells you to."

Your hand instinctively grabbed the man's wrist before you slowly let go realizing that this was part of your cover. Who is the 'he' the man's taking about?

"Something the matter, sweetness?" A breathe of alcohol crawled up your neck before the man began to slide his hand to your thigh.

"Nothing's wrong." You lied plainly.

"Now, I don't know what the guy wants to do next." A small hiccup emitted from another man's throat. "All I heard was that they're planning on capturing some kid or something. I guessing that they're not done."

Kid?  You pondered. The poison from earlier, Pastor Nick being killed due to the fact that he was presumably became allies with the survey corps. Am I being targeted? Your heart skipped a beat as you glanced around the pub for anything suspicious. The only thing that struck your interest was the same brunette woman that served you and Levi tea earlier today. Something. Something is wrong.
