The sky was oddly beautiful today, despite what was about to happen. Birds gracefully perched on to the rooftops as they chirped happily. You were mounted on to your white pearlescent stallion with the 'wings of freedom' displayed on your back. A gentle breeze blew your (h/c) away from your face as you closed your eyes and listened to the hopeful comments of the spectating citizens. A heavy sigh fell upon as you opened your eyes at the opening gate lifting off the ground.

"IT'S OFFICIALLY BEGUN!" Erwin's voice boomed throughout the whole area that was occupied with soldiers and citizens. "THE 57th RECON MISSION. SCOUTS! MOVE OUT!" And with his signal, you all rode outside the gate. Swiftly moving along the destroyed and abandoned buildings you moved your horse closer to Levi's.

"We have a ten meter closing in on the left! It has a glorious fat belly!" Hanji yelled. "My squad! Take it down!" Two men zipped through the crumbling buildings as they struggled to slice the nape of the creature.

"YOUR JOB IS TO KEEP YOUR EYES FORWARD!" A high ranking soldier commanded Sasha who was terrified at the sight of the beast. "THAT'S THEIR PROBLEM TO HANDLE. FORWARD! RIDE FOR ALL YOU'RE WORTH!"

As you all rode your horses out to the barren plains, Eren started to conversed with Oluo which then, the man, bit his tongue by accident; whimpering in pain. Petra chuckled at her comrade's reaction. "Serves you right!" She grinned.

In a sudden instant, Eren drew his arm out. "LONG RANGE FORMATION!" He ordered the troops to disperse into their designated spots to cover more ground. You accompanied the special operations squad along with Eren as it was Levi's duty to keep you both under his supervision. Flare rounds were placed into a small bag that was attached to your saddle and a gun on your belt; ready to use at any moment. Red puffs of smoke rose into the air. It was close enough for your squad to notice, so you grabbed a red flare round and shot it into the air to warn the other groups of a titan sighting. Your journey went about for couple of long minutes. No flares were signaled at the time causing you to feel uneasy about the situation.
