Girlfriend and boyfriend, husband and wife, best friends, mom and dad, any title related has always been applied to the pair since the beginning.
The pair have known each other for years. Jin met Elena in 2011 when he officially became a BigHit trainee. They happened to bump into each other and it was his first day as a trainee and he was lost. She helped him, and they became closer ever since.
The couple started dating in late 2012 and came out officially in 2014. Sadly, their relationship ended in early 2015.

Sunmi and Elena is an iconic duo. They've been friends ever since pre-debut. To Sunmi, Elena is someone who she looks up to. When either one is down or stressed, they can always rely on each other, trust and cry with each other. No matter where they are, they always make each other laugh and smile.
Both being soloists, they have a lot of collaborations and projects together. They're each other's number one fan and is supportive of everything. Sunmi is also a huge Jinela shipper.

Woobin and Elena are so close to the point people think they're dating.She took her first leading role on The Heirs and their friendship started to grow. The pair also acted on Uncontrollably Fond where sparks flied and rumors started to appear.
In 2016, Woobin finally admitted he dated Elena - and hinted that their relationship failed because she was still in love with Kim Seokjin. In an interview with KBS World, he described his romance with Elena as "Very short-lived, very small, but very impactful."
The pair remained friends and decided to keep it that way, because both of them felt their relationship was rushed and wrong. They still talk to this day and many people think Woobin is the reason why Jin and Elena broke up.

TAEYEON & ELENA AEYEON
These two always make sure to see each other whenever Elena visits SM Entertainment.
As a former SM trainee, Elena and Taeyeon were very close and still are to this day. Elena is a huge fangirl when it comes to Girl's Generation and she's a huge supporter, even of what she's doing outside of the group.
They are often crazy and the only person Taeyeon can be a total and utter freak with and be comfortable about it.
