everyone in korea knows about the duo; they're considered one of the hottest couples in k-pop.

with their close friendship, their cute moments, the constant support for each other, fans already knew something was going on, even when she was in a relationship. however, elantics didn't shed light on this ship before got7's debut. after jinela's breakup, aebum stans started to rise and they started to notice.

now, jinela and aebum stans tend to get very aggressive and triggered when it comes to who she apparently "loves the most", which cause rivalry, jealousy and even hatred, which we try to avoid.

it has come to the point where some fans have posted fake information and rumors of elena, where they said that she was only dating jin because of publicity and fame or that jb is just a rebound, which is not true; jinela was very much real and jb is not even near of being a rebound. these ships are different from each other and has their own unique form.

so today, i will give you a guide to this ship and explain a little more, and trying to get you to understand that jin has nothing to do with them being together as he mentioned before because there's a lot of people who think so.

now let's start shall we:

elena officially met jb in 2009 before taking a hiatus from her music career and leaving wonder girls. the pair happened to bump into each other while it was his first time of being a jyp trainee. since elena was gonna leave and re-new her contract, she was in a rush and didn't see jb in front of him and crashed into his chest and fell down on her butt.

even though it was elena's fault for not paying attention, jb became flustered and apologized plenty times, while elena shook it off telling him it was her fault. now we're not getting too deep here about their first meeting, the rest is pretty self explanatory.

keep in mind that elena is a social butterfly; she loves people, making friends, and building relationships, so with them only being friends ( & literally all of jyp artists ), was nothing new for elantics, but their "friendship" was totally different from any other friendships in the industry ( this sounds very cliche ew ). and i'm not talking about shipping and interactions, etc. it's just about their close bond and the way they stand out and how they act with each other. it was just something that people always commented about and found it very interesting.

the funny thing with aebum is that the pair was very oblivious of their feelings towards each other, as many people have said. elena has mentioned many times before in the past that they're only friends until they actually came out in january 2018 both glowing and confirming the rumors, which made k-pop stans shock.

of course some people weren't happy, but who cares? the only thing that matters is elena's happiness. if she's happy, we're happy.

i could write 500 paragraphs, but we're near the end. i hope this helped some of you beautiful people and that we all can just love and spread support to each other.
