The liquid has a slight burn down my throat as I seat my red cup back on the railing. The further the night went on meant the amount of Jack Daniels in my drink kept increasing. The contents of my cup was now seventy five percent Jack and only twenty five percent coke.  My body was definitely feeling the warmth from multiple drinks.

I lean my back on the railing watching the crowd dance inside. My glazed eyes moved from person to person in search of one person that apparently wasn't even here anymore. I can only grumble to myself before turning my attention back to my cup. All I can do now is wait until Alex is ready to leave.

"Oh my god. You're that guy." I spin my head to the gawking voice and instantly regret it as the whole world spins too. A long legged blonde approaches me carrying her own red cup tight against her chest and her other hand pointing at me. Hmmm. Break one stupid track record and people know who you are. "You're that guy that used to be with Zoe. I have heard some fantastic stories about you." Or not.

My nose with filled with a sweet honey smell the closer she got to me until she was practically leaning against my chest. Her nail spins circle above my heart as she purrs at me while she makes sure to press her breasts against me. "Enough." My voice is cold and distant as I wrap my fingers around her wrist pulling it away from me and above her head. Her red lips crash into mine hungrily as she forces her small tongue in my mouth. I push her back hard enough she falls back into a chair then wipe my mouth with the side of my arm.

"Seems like you can't help but force yourself on any girl with a boyfriend." The voice of Amber's boyfriend makes the hairs on my neck stand up as I turn to him. "This prick is making out with your girl Matthew." A growl exits my throat as another guy takes a step forward popping his knuckles.

The two of them start making their way towards me as they are followed by two more. The railing digs into my back reminding my that I can't run away. I whisper to no one in particular, "Very well then." My hand reaches put to my cup and I sling the remaining contents in the face of the closest person to me.

My first connects with Matthew face first as I turn to swinging at the one behind him. I only graze the second person as a sharp hit lands in my ribs. I silently curse myself for drinking as I hit another person in the gut while hands try to grip my arms. "Hold him still damn it!" The voice comes from a slightly blinded guy as my arms are locked behind me.

Amber's boyfriend slams his first into my stomach as Matthew does the same to my jaw. The metallic taste of blood fills my mouth while I struggle waiting for the next blow. I kick back feeling my foot hit something solid causing the man to my right to crumble holding his knee. I use my free arm to pull the man to my left in front of me so Matthew's fist nails him square in the nose.

I stand across from the two remaining pricks trying my best to keep my eyes focused on them. If this was a movie this would be the part were someone would say hit the one in the middle. A sly grin breaks across my face as I fake with my right hand and actually kick Matthew in the balls. There are no rules in real fighting and that is definitely for when you are fighting four against one.

We measure each other up making sure not to blink. "Well Dick. Ready to fight me one on one?" He answers with a yell while charging at me like a bull. I quickly sidestep and throw an elbow into the side of his head slicing into his face. Circling left I jump back away from his swing and I throw a monstrous right hook putting him on his back.

"Jay come on!" Alex's hands land on my arm pulling me with him through the watching crowd. Our momentum carries us to his car so I jump in the passenger seat as we speed away. "No more parties for you Jay."

     "Agreed."

I let out a groan of relief as I place the ice bag across my face. I lay my pounding head on my pillow taking in how tender my ribs feel. I watch as Alex places a water bottle on my night stand and fishes out some pills for me. I give him a nod of thanks before taking them and laying back down.

"Well this is just freaking fantastic." Alex watches me as he takes a seat on his bed waiting for me to continue. "Stupid rumors got some crazy bitch to try to shove her tongue down my throat just in time for her boyfriend and Dick to show up. Now I gotta deal with whatever shit storm is gonna come my way. So I should prepare for hell tomorrow. I'm gonna be hungover, sore as shit, and probably going to be dealing with more rumors of how I'm a woman stealer or something."

"Why were you drinking by yourself anyway? I thought a party would be good for you."

"Like ten minutes after you went off with Melanie I ended up seeing Amber with Dick so I decided I needed something stronger than beer." I had a small smile on my lips at my new name for Amber's boyfriend. It seemed appropriate. "I thought my situation with Amber couldn't get any worse. I was wrong because I ended up fighting her boyfriend and had some strange chicks lips on mine. How did you know where to find me anyway?"

I blinked my eyes a few times making Alex's three heads turn back into one. "I heard shouting that someone was fighting and I didn't think anything of it until Amber came screaming that you were fighting half the lacrosse team." Dick being a part of the lacrosse team explained why he seemed like a total trust fund baby. "Anyway she told me about how some blonde forced herself on you and then you got cornered by four guys. The crowd wouldn't let me through so I was panicking I wouldn't reach you in time."

"You have no faith in my fighting skills." I grimace as I try to laugh before turning onto my back. The room fades to black with a click as Alex turns off the lights.

"Get some rest Jay. You are going to need it for tomorrow." His bed creaks as he makes his way under the covers and leaves me in perfect silence. Amber saw I didn't kiss that girl. She forced herself on me. I could live with that fact as long as she knew the truth. I will just face the fact I hurt her boyfriend later.
