Millie's POV
Not one word, nada, nothing, zilch and to top it off dad is going ape shit because Emilia hasn't called him in three weeks!
"Dad relax, she'll call. Have you been sending her everything I've been asking you too?"
"Of course I have, even threw in a little extra x o on the cards."
I smiled.
"Good."
"Good? She hasn't called me!"
"I told you to call her."
"No, that's her job."
"Since when?"
"Since... Since... Ugh!"
I couldn't help it, I laughed.
"Look I'm going out with Josiah, if you don't call her by the time I come back we're calling her, got it?"
"You've been going out with him an awful lot baby girl."
I shrugged.
"Like you said his loss and I'm not going to wait around for him."
"Just be careful alright?"
I nodded giving him a kiss.
"Love you daddy."
"Love you too."
I grabbed my jacket and ran out to find him waiting for me.
"Hey gorgeous."
I smiled and went up to him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Ready?"
I nodded and we got in.
Josiah was taking me to the beach and then we were staying the night at a friend's house. That I was worried about, we've been going out for a month now and well he's been hinting about taking things further. Only problem was that I hadn't told him about Maison and I and that I was mated to him.
"What's wrong sweaty?"
I turned and smiled.
"Nothing just excited and nervous I guess."
He smiled and took my hand.
"There's nothing to be worried about, you're in good hands."
He wiggled his eyebrows making me laugh.
"Josiah, stop it."
"What? Can't a man want to make a beautiful woman like yourself feel safe?"
"Not when I really know what you're talking about."
"And what am I talking about?"
"You know what you're talking about."
I turned my head to look out, but he turned my head back around.
"This weekend isn't about that, you know that right?"
I sighed and looked down.
"Well you said you wanted to take things to the next step."
"Yeah, but that didn't mean sleeping together, I'm not ready for that just yet, are you?"
I shook my head and looked up at him, smiling down at me.
