Vince's POV
Shit! Shit! Shit!
I knew something was up when I couldn't find Joe anywhere and screaming broke out throughout the pack. Then fire balls were being tossed into windows, with glass breaking.
'Rogues Alpha, they're everywhere!'
'Get all the woman and children out NOW!'
I howled to let the neighboring packs to know we were under attack. When I heard Josiah's howl that he was on his way I ran back to get Millie, she was alone.
I knew she was going to fight me, but I had to get her out of here or I would never forgive myself if something happened to her. As soon as Josiah stepped into our territory I asked him to find Millie and take her with him.
My mind was going a mile a minute I had to get to the border line and fight, but Millie was my first priority.
'Go I got her!'
But I had to make sure and as soon as she ran off and Josiah behind her I was off with his father and other wolves.
They were everywhere, surrounding us all. When you were finished with one, there was another waiting. I don't know how long it took, but with the help of Josiah's pack, we were able to kill most of them, only leaving us with a hand full of cowards.
"Who sent you?!"
When they didn't answer I used dad's whip of silver to get them talking.
"Terrance!"
"Who's Terrance?!"
"He's our leader!"
Paul, my Beta yanked one of there heads back and looked him in the eye.
"Terrance, as in Terrance the leader of the black skulls?"
"Yes."
We both growled and killed them off, except one.
"Lock him up!"
I walked away and went around, looking at all the damage. Some fires were still being put out and was thankful that there weren't any casualties. Dad had his pack prepared and trained, just not me.
"Hey, you okay?"
I turned to see Josiah.
"Where's Millie?"
"She was running back to my grounds when I left her."
"Call her, I wanna know she's okay."
My phone rang then.
"Hello?"
"Tell me what happened!"
"Dad!"
"Vince, what happened?!"
"We were attacked, but we're fine now. We've got most of the fires out..."
"Fires, but how the hell did this happen? You were supposed to..."
"This isn't my fault! I did everything you taught me, but something happened, someone let them in!"
I could hear mom in the back ground then she came on the phone.
"Vince, Taylor, find Taylor, she let them in!"
As much as I wanted to deny it, she was probably right.
