Josie's POV
It couldn't be him. He was...oh god, not him.
“Josie honey!"
I ran right into Mom's arms.
"Sweetie what's wrong?"
“It's him."
“Josie!"
Josiah came in, pulling me away from mom and into his arms.
“Tell me it isn't true."
“Shhh... it's okay."
“What is going on?!"
“Josie found her mate."
“What?! When?!"
“Just now."
“That's great!"
I shook my head and looked at her.
“It's Vince Mom, Vince is my mate."
She gasped, covering her mouth and shaking her head.
“No, it can't be."
“She's telling you the truth I was there."
“But he's a rapist!"
I nodded as Daddy came in.
“What's going on?"
I looked up at him and couldn't help but cry more.
“Oh Daddy, it just isn't fair."
I went up to him and let myself get engulfed in his arms.
“It's so unfair."
“Baby girl, Maison is coming out."
I looked up.
“What, when?"
“I'm on my way to pick him up."
“I wanna go!"
“No Josie!"
Josiah pulled me away from dad and looked at me.
“You are not to go over there do you understand me?"
“But..."
“I'll go with him."
“Sweetie, listen to your brother."
Mom took my hand and I knew they were only trying to protect me, so I agreed, I would wait.
Vince's POV
I couldn't stay home when I knew that she wasn't going to be here.
“Dad!"
Dad came out from the kitchen.
“What are you doing home, you're supposed to be at school."
“I found my mate."
It took him a minute to process then brought me into his arms.
“Congratulations."
“There's a problem though."
He pulled me away and looked at me.
“What is it?"
“It's Alpha John's daughter."
Then there was a growl only to look up at him, making e growl.
