Christian's POV
I watched as my own son's heart broke just like mine had been broken so many years ago. I knew exactly what he was going through and only time will heal him, if he allowed it.
I sighed and made my way down as he came stomping in with rage in his eyes.
“Son..."
“She's taking his side! She's leaving to be with him! They're all leaving and because of her! She took everything!â€
“Who?"
“Mom! Josie!"
Emilia then came in and he growled at her.
“Vince, please."
“NO! You wanna go, then go! I don't need you! You prefer him over me any way! You didn't want me that's why you left me!“
“That's not true! I couldn't take care of you and you know that!"
“And you still can't do it now!"
I saw Emilia take a step back and look away as the tears formed in her eyes.
”You know now I'm thinking that it was you who killed dad."
Her eyes suddenly snapped up and she growled.
“I didn't kill him and if you think for one second that I would do that to the only man who's ever really taken care of me then you're more like Christian than I thought."
“Besides my now dead father, He's been the only other person who's ever loved me."
“Vince!"
I stepped down as he turned towards me.
“No, it's true! You've always been there, treated me as your own. Millie and I were never without because of you."
“Because I knew there was something there, I knew you more than just my nephew."
He nodded then looked back at his mother.
“I don't need you, I never have and now I never will because I don't ever wanna see you again."
I watched her hold her own when I knew she was crumbling inside. I expected her to beg him to forgive her, but looking at Vince he wasn't in the position right now to forgive. He was grieving his loss of the only man he's ever known as his father and the only thing he could do was blame everyone else. Though I was afraid he would regret this later, Emilia needed to learn there were consequences to her actions.
“Leave us alone Vince, I need to talk to your mother."
“She's not my mother."
She gave her a once over and walked away. As soon as the door closed, she let out a cry with the breath she was holding in. I went to hold her, but she backed away.
“Emilia, you knew this was going to happen, you knew."
“Josie killed his baby."
“What?!"
“She got desperate and went to see Mika."
I growled them, how dare he?!
“He tried, everyone tried except for Vince. She told him and he basically told her she was on her own. She didn't know what to do and I even tried to get him to talk to her, but he was too late. He took too long and by the time he went... she had done it."
