"Hey, thanks for helping Emma." I said just as the group of girls and guys from the year below walked out the door.

"Don't worry about it. I love working here." She grinned wiping down one of the tables. There were still a few people in here, including Jake's crew, but we weren't as busy.

"I think Maisie's going to offer you a job." I regretted saying it as soon as she started squealing.

"Yaaay!" She jumped and did a weird dance.

"Okaay." I said moving onto the next table.

"Hey." Emma said standing right next to me and lowering her voice. "Why is Jake staring at you?" She asked so low, I could barely hear her.

"I don't know." I shrugged but boy did I know.

"Well, he's staring at you with a lot of mixed emotions." She said then turned to face me. "Autumn, be careful."

"What?" I asked confused, facing her.

"Look, every girl has fallen for his charm once before. And each one has ended in tears, I just don't want you getting hurt. Honestly, believe me that your life would be so much better if you just avoided him and the rest of the jerk crew."

I cast my eyes quickly to the floor before looking back up at her.

"Oh gosh, please don't tell me you've already fallen for his charm!" She eyes widened. "When did he get to you?"

"Shhh! Emma, it's not like that at all!" I said putting my hand over her mouth. "Can we talk about this later?" I asked and she nodded, still confused.

"What time do you close?" She asked when I removed my hand.

"Ten." I said looking at the clock. "Half an hour."

"Ok."

"Autumn, could you sort out the store room please?" Maisie asked while she sorted out the cash machine.

"Sure thing." I said heading towards the back, passing the kitchen on my way. "Hey Darren." I waved at our cheif.

"Hey girl." He grinned before wiping his eyes.

"Chopping Onions?" I asked pausing at the door.

"Yeah, damn things are just so strong." He said sniffing. I laughed and entered the store room.

Picking up the clipboard, I started going through the list and unloading the boxes. Thankfully Maisie had fully stocked up not long ago so she only ordered the things we were running out on which mainly consisted of yogurt.

I was too busy concentrating on what I was doing that I hadn't heard anyone enter the store room until I heard the door shut. What really shocked me was that I didn't feel the butterfilies or have the weird tingling sensation.

"You're not meant to be back here." I said going back to my clipboard.

"Maisie won't mind." No, but I might, I added in my head.

"Pass me that box please?" I asked pointing the box on the shelf behind him.

"Listen Autumn," He started while picking up the box and placing it on the stack of boxes besides me. "We need to talk."

"Peaches." I said.

"What?" He asked confused.

"Peaches. It's whats in the box Jake." I said ticking the box on the clipboard before placing it on the shelf behind me. "I'm kind of busy Jake." I said wanting to avoid whatever he wanted to talk about. I had a hard enough time keeping my wolf calm.
