Autumn's P.O.V

The drive seemed to go on for hours but I still ended up at that diner way to soon. It wasn't hard to find, there was no sign of human life for miles and this was as far out as the territory went. When I parked Seth's car, I knew I was on my own. I was still close but now out of the Pack's grounds so the mindlink wouldn't work as well as it should.

I didn't know if I should stay in the car or go inside, it didn't look like there was anyone around accept a truck driver. It was 1 o'clock, I couldn't just sit here and wait so I figured I'd go inside and see what was around. Pushing the dirty glass door with my fingertips I was beginning to think this was a bad idea.

It wasn't exactly the 5 five star diner I had been hoping for, heck, I didn't even know if this would get 1 star. There was no way I was eating something that came from this place. An old man worked behind the counter and didn't even look up at me from his newspaper as I stood infront of him.

"Mm, hi." I said but he didn't seem to hear me and if he did then he made no effort to show it. I looked around to see if anyone worked here but no such luck. "I'm meant to be meeting someone." I attempted to talk to the man again. I sighed when he did nothing.

"Go through the back." He grunted a very delayed response. I looked past him to the only other door, minus the entrance and bathroom, I cringed.

"Mm, thanks." I mumbled walking past him. I pulled at the sleeve of my jumper before touching the handle of the door, I didn't want to risk catching anything. The door opened with a creek and the sun greated me on the otherside.

I walked down the concrete steps onto the dusty ground and looked around. Nothing but trees and a great big dusty bin placed against the back of the old diner. I took a few more steps and spun around again. Great, I was tricked by a old guy who runs a dead end diner.

This was just my luck.

I was too busy scolding myself for listening to the creepy guy that I didn't hear the footsteps of someone coming behind before it was too late and someone grabbed me around the waist with one arm while he used the other to place a cloth to my face.

After that, everything went blank.

Jake's P.O.V

"You've known about this for weeks?!" My hands came down on the table with so much force that the wood cracked under pressure. I was barely in control as my dad, Seth and David told what had been happening.

"Now son,-" My father started.

"She's my mate Dad. My Mate." I growled. "Why didn't anybody tell me! I could have prevented this! I could have help! I could have done something!" I shouted trying to keep control.

"Jake, this was Autumn's decision." Seth said but right now I was listening to anyone. The only thing running through my mind was that someone had been after my mate and nobody had told me about it. I could have done something, I could have helped, I could have paid more attention but now she was gone.

"Where are you going?!" My dad shouted after me when I started towards the door.

"After my mate!" I said my voice low and threatening to anyone who dared try to stop me. I was shaking when I got outside, barely being able to hold all the rage in and to keep my wolf from lashing out and that didn't help when I noticed Autumn's friends stood outside.

Emma was crying while clutching onto Connor. Connor didn't show any emotion accept pulling Emma closer to him protectively. Tiffany and Amy weren't here, probably looking after the Café.
