"What if I trip up the steps and face plant the floor?" I asked Elle who was on speaker phone while I was re-applying my make-up.

"Ok, seriously Ayla, calm the fuck down. You're going to be fine. Stop stressing."

"I'm not stressing." I said throwing my jeans on my bed frustrated. "Ok, so maybe I'm a little stressed." I sighed rubbing my hands over my face.

"Look, just be yourself ok. If it's really that bad then I can very easily convince my mum to adopt you. She already thinks of you as her daughter, hell, sometimes she'd rather you then me." She laughed.

"Ok, I can do this." I said to myself out loud.

"That you can my friend." She cheered for me through the phone. "Ok, just remember......Any free hot single males, mention my name and hand out my number." I said at the same time she did. "Have I told you this already?"

"It was just a lucky guess." I said sarcastically.

"Ok, I have to go to school myself. Call me up later Ayla. Ciao!"

"Adios." Ending the call, I looked back to the mirror giving myself another glance over.

I chanted to myself as I climbed the stairs to the schools main entrance. The moment I got out of the car people have been staring at me, of course, they had been waiting for this moment, to see the new wolf girl.

It's not often that new members join a pack, the only time people moved packs really was when their mate was in a different one to them, and just like Alpha Richard had assured, no one knew of my situation. That's why they were all fascinated.

I let out a breath I hadn't realized I had been holding when I reached the office. So I managed to get from the car to the reception, can I last all day?

"Welcome to Yaleside High School, how can I be of assistance?" An women in her late thirties asked as I approached.

"Um, hi. I'm Autumn Vanderwall." I said hoping she'd know where to go from here.

"Oh yes!" She grinned looking away from her computer. "You're the new student right?" She asked pushing herself across the office on her chair.

"Yes." I said watching her pull out a document from the cabinet.

"I have your schedule, locker combination and reports from your old school." She said opening the file on her desk. "Here, sign this..." She said handing me a pen and pointing to the dotted line. "And then here is everything you'll need. If you could have each teacher sign this form and hand it to me at the end of the day please?" She asked and I nodded scanning it over. "Someone from the welcoming committee shall be waiting outside for you." She smiled and gestured to the door.

"Thank you." I said over my shoulder closing the door behind me.

"Hi!" I stopped in my tracks nearly running into a blonde girl grinning widely at me. "My names Emma. I'm from the welcoming committee. It's so nice to finally meet you! It's not often we get new people here due to us being wolves and everything but I can't believe it. Everyones been talking about you, you're the new hot topic of the school, is that your schedule? Can I see?"

I never answered, she had already taken it from my hands. I stood there in a daze as my brain was still processing what Emma had said. She talks really fast.

"We have first period together!" She said with her big blue eyes glowing excitedly. "We also have third and fifth." She grinned and looped her arm through mine. "So your locker is down the main hall, three down from my mine is which awesome but your also across from Jake and Scarlett which isn't as awesome." She rambled. "I'm sorry. I ramble when I'm excited." She said when we reached my locker.
