Everything was almost ready at last, all he had left to do was jam the lock and wait. He had begrudgingly decided that a simple knife from the kitchen would be the easiest thing to use. If he went for something more blunt, the likelihood of missing or messing up somehow, went up exponentially and a stuff up was the last thing he needed.

Kokichi had locked the door for him, while shaking his head the entire time. He had left with a simple, 'you happy now?'. Shuuichi had thought it best not answer such a question and had replied with an even simpler, 'thanks'. He had then scurried over to the warehouse where Kaede had first acquired the shot put used to kill Rantaro. But not in this reality. Rantaro wouldn't die this time.

And now he was rummaging around in the many boxes of objects to find anything he could use. On one the higher shelves he found a box full of office supplies and... jackpot! He pulled out a tube of glue and pushed the box back into its original position. He couldn't have looked any more shifty if he tried. Had Kaede felt this way when she had gone behind his back to grab the shot put ball?

Surprisingly he found joy in emptying the contents of the glue into the keyhole and watching it close up the hole, now unable to be used again. He smiled at his handy work and headed to the kitchen for the final leg of his plan. To his luck there was no one there yet and he was able to quickly grab a knife from the rack without being noticed.

He approximated that he had a couple of hours until the horrible killing song would be played through the speakers. Now he had time to dwell over what he was about to do. Epic. As soon as he made it back to his room he plopped himself back onto the bed as though he had never gotten up that morning and had simply slept through 1 and a half days instead. A part of him wished that he hadn't woken up, to not worry about any of this, but it wasn't like he was going to just sit there and watch the killing game take its part. Not when he was given the chance to change everything.

Why was this happening anyway? What was making him come back? Would it continue or would this be the last time? So many question ricocheted off every corner of his head and bumping into each other and causing uproars. He wished it would all stop. He wished he could just forget everything. He didn't want to remember anything, it all hurt too much. All the deaths he couldn't prevent, how he had caused Kokichi's death.

He groaned and rolled over so his face was engulfed in the blankets. He had to get a hold of himself. He had to control his thoughts and not let them take over him.

Despite his desire to not dwell over what he was going to have to do very soon, it was all he could think about until he glanced up from his bed some hours later feeling dazed and sick. It had to be close to 10. His stomach churned horribly as he stood up and made his way out of his room, stuffing the knife he had grabbed from the kitchen into the inside of his jacket and out of plain sight. The poking of the blade at his side every time he stepped was just another horrible reminder of what was to come.

When the bathroom door was in sight he hid he hid behind a wall, whilst making sure he could see clearly who passed by.

He only had to wait 20 minutes until the buzz of electricity shocked the monitors and speakers into life. Shuuichi gave the horrid video one glance before turning his attention back to the door and to anyone who happened to pass his hiding spot. He couldn't hear the footsteps until they were practically right in front of him. A girl with long blue hair was walking casually over to the bathroom door, anyone who saw her wouldn't  have suspected her to be suspicious in the slightest. When she reached the door she tried the handle to no avail.

Shuuichi let out a small sigh of relief and pulled at the handle of the blade, removing it cleanly from his undershirt. When she unsurprisingly pulled out a key from her pocket, Shuuichi made his advance. It was lucky the music was still blaring because if it hadn't he bet Tsumugi would have been able to hear his heavy steps.
