"You DID try to kill Shuuichi!" Kokichi snarled at Miu who seemed to be extremely frazzled.
"That's not the issue here..." Miu said awkwardly, averting her eyes from everyone in guilt,
"Yeah it is!" Kokichi retorted back, his eyes staring daggers at Miu. Shuuichi simply stared. Miu wasn't denying the fact that she had tried to kill him. So it was true after all. He had been betrayed by her... she had tried to kill him.
"Why did you not kill me?" He said loudly over Kokichi who broke off as soon as Shuuichi had began to speak.

Miu looked at him, her brow furrowed and eyes distant and angry,
"I didn't want to kill you in the first place, I never wanted to kill you, but I don't want to die... not in this stupid game..." she choked, slamming a hand into the podium in front of her, "I knew that if you used that machine again the opportunity would be too hard for me to not take advantage of... I tried to get you to not use it, but you kept asking and..." She broke off. Shuuichi didn't say anything. What was he supposed to say to this? This still didn't explain why she had stopped, she must've had some input into bringing him back.

"Why did you not kill me..." he repeated, finally catching Miu's eye. Miu didn't seem to be able to look away no matter how much it seemed to be hurting her to look at him,
"I couldn't... The announcement... someone had already died, I didn't want you to die as well."
"You absolute bitch." Kokichi spat, "we trusted you and you pull this shit. I WISH you killed Kaito so you would get executed." No one bothered to berate Kokichi for his rudeness as everyone seemed to be pulled to their senses again. That's right, they were still in the class trial, all of their lives were on the line. They needed to push this Miu issue to the side as much as it pained him to do so.

"We can talk about this later," said Kaede with a little hesitation, "we still have to find the culprit."
"But Saihara found the culprit right? It was Himiko was it not?" Angie said unabashed.
"Well she at least lied about her task." Kiyo added with a look towards Himiko who shivered visibly.
"I d-didn't lie..." Himiko said weakly, her fists clenched at her sides.
"Yeah, you obviously did runty~" Kokichi grinned, his previous frustration nowhere to be seen. "We know that bitchass whore had to kill Shuuichi so that leaves... Oh! I know! You had to kill Kaito, right?"

"Be quiet you degenerate scum!" Tenko seethed angrily, "if any of you say one more thing about Himiko being the culprit, I'll..."
"The only other person it could've been is you." Shuuichi explained, glancing between the two of them in suspicion. The key had definitely come from their direction meaning they were both prime suspects. By the way they were acting, it was possible that this had been a group effort and they were covering for one another, so who was the actual murderer. Only one person was the blackened so that meant at least one of them would die in this trial and the other would survive.

"I see you caught me then." Tenko said through gritted teeth, "I killed Kaito, so leave Himiko out of this, she had nothing to do with it." There was something weird about Himiko's reaction and it seemed Kokichi had seen it to. His time spent with Kokichi had taught him more about reading people than he had originally thought. He had thought maybe he had just gotten better at seeing through Kokichi and his lying facade, but that didn't seem to be just the case.
"You're confessing?!" Tsumugi gasped, her hands coming up to clasp over her mouth, "Tenko why did you do this!"
"It was my task, I had to otherwise I would die right?" She said shortly, not looking at Tsumugi and rather up at Monokuma, "Monokuma can we start the vote?"

"No. Not yet." Shuuicho said firmly, attempting to find his voice again. "We don't know the full truth of this case, and I don't think you're the culprit Tenko..." he said solemnly, eyeing Himiko scrutinously. Himiko flinched under his stare and looked quickly to Tenko as if begging for advice on what to do. Himiko was not acting like an innocent party in this. There was also no way that these two couldn't have been working together in some case which rebutted Tenko's previous statement stating Himiko 'had no idea'.
"One of you is the culprit and I have reasoning to prove that it's not you Tenko." He said in defiance, his voice finally breaking its restraints.
