The movie started. It's called 'When You Least Expect it". A little weird, but when you watch the movie it makes sense. It is just about someone, no, something, taking people and torturing them to death. It was actually pretty scary.
About five minutes into the movie Nathan put his arm around you and brought you closer. He looks at you and smiles. You look at him and smile back. This isn't a dream, you have to keep reminding yourself. It's actually happening.
One part in the movie scared you so bad you hid in Nathan's arms. You could tell it scared him, too, but just a little bit. "I've got you." he whispers. A warm feeling crept through you. It felt so good to be in his arms. You felt safe. Like nobody, not even Penny, could hurt you.
Those words. I've got you. You smiled at that.
When the movie was over you didn't want to go home. You kinda stayed back walking to the car.
"What's wrong?" Nathan noticed, He was really good at knowing when something is wrong with you.
"It's just I don't want to go back home. My parents are hardly ever home and it's just me. Especially since my best friend is leaving me out." You say.
"Then let's get something to eat." He said. You smiled.
He took you to a fast-food place and wore a hat and sunglasses so nobody noticed him. You laughed and he just grinned. When you were done eating you guys just talked. He wanted you to tell him about yourself since you already knew a lot about him. You told him about your job, your parents, and about what you liked to do.
"So, if you don't mind me asking, what is it with you and your best friend?" He asked.
"She is just hanging out with a girl who hates me for no reason and thinks everything is a competition between us a lot lately and leaving me out. She was with me at the concert. Lately, she is acting more like Penny. They used to be best friends until Penny became a total jerk. Then me and Alex became best friends. Now Penny is trying to take her back for whatever reason. She even-" You stopped. You didn't want to tell him that she threatened you.
"What'd she do?" he asked, looking concerned.
"It's nothing," You say.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yeah" You say.
"That sounds to be a big problem." He said.
"Yeah. So now I'm mostly all alone." You say.
He nodded. Atleast someone understood. It was getting late so he took oyu home. You let him come in for a minute.
He looked around, mostly at the pictures. Good thing you have a nice place, you thought. He came to the one of you when you were 3-years-old.
"Aw." He said, smiling.
You laugh. "I was three then." You say.
He laughed, too. Then he got a text from Jay saying they couldn't stall for the manager much longer. You guys said bye and he hugged you. He kissed you on your cheek. When he left you put your hand to your cheek. You remembered his warmth. His soothing voice. His caring eyes.
It was still hard to believe that he liked you. Of course you liked him, too. You got dressed into your pajamas and layed in bed. You put in your iPod ear buds and fell asleep listening to The Wanted, your heart skipping a beat at every one of Nathan's parts.
