Last To Know

Part 9

    You guys get into the car. He tells you to close your eyes and to not peek. Not once do you peek, no matter how much you wanted to. About twenty minutes later the car came to a stop. He told you to open your eyes. You were at the mall.

    "Why are we here?" You ask, confused..

     "To shop." He says.

     "For what?" You ask.

     "Anything." He grins. You remember telling him that you love to shop at the mall.

     "Thank you!" You tell him and gave him a big hug. He hugs you back.

     You guys went in and went to your favorite store first. That was the store you bought your outfit for your first date with Nath. He helped you look for some clothes to try on. When you found some you headed to the dressing rooms. He waited patiently after each turn, commenting on how you look in those  outfits.

      By the time you were done you have three new outfits. You led Nathan into a store and made him try on some hats and jackets. He ended up buying some because he knew you wanted him to.  He asked you if you were hungry. You said yes and he took you to get some pizza in the food court.

   Some girls noticed him and asked for a photo and autograph. When he was done they hugged him. You couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

   "Don't worry." He said when they were gone. "I like you more." He smiles and you smile back. You loved his smile. It was enough to make your heart melt.

    After you guys eat, and goofed off a bit, you went into the pet store. You looked at the puppies and found one that you really loved. It was a baby boxer.

    "Nath, look! He's so cute!" You say. He comes over.

    "He is!" He agrees. He asked the employee if you guys can hold him. She says yes and hands you the puppy. The pup licked your face and you laughed. Nathan did, too. He took a picture of you with the boxer.

     "I love this dog!" You say, laughing again as the puppy keeps licking you. He smiles. When you guys left the store, you guys went into a jewelry store.

     Nathan picked up a necklace and held it up to you. He looked like he was imagining it on you. Then he put it back into it's place. The teenage girl who was working the cash register looked up and dropped the magazine she was reading.

      "You're N-N-Nathan Sykes!" She stutters.

     He smiles. "Yeah."

      "Can I have your autograph?" She asked nervously. Another autograph from another pretty girl, you think.

    "Sure." He says and signs her notepad.

   "T-thanks." She says.

    "No problem." He says back warmly. You guys leave the store with the shocked teenager. Nath checked the time on his phone.

    "We have about an hour." He says. He takes you to the smoothie stand, gets a smoothie, and went to a bench in the middle of the mall.

   He shares it with you as you guys joke around. Before you know it you guys have to leave. On the way back to the car, Nathan gives you a piggy-back ride. You laugh. You knew he was strong, but he was stronger than you thought. He lifted you up easily and acted like you weighed nothing.

     Driving to the place he was performing, he takes your hand. When you guys get there, he takes you into the dressing room. There were five other rooms, smaller, for the guys to dress. You sit on the couch and Nath sits beside you waiting for the lads.

   About two minutes later they arrive. The boys get dressed and when Nathan comes out, he takes one of his new jackets out of the bag he brought in from the mall. He puts it on and smiles at you.

    "New jacket?" Siva asked.

   "Yeah. Y/N picked it out." He says.

    "That's sweet! Wearing the jacket your girlfriend picked out for you."

     The others, including you and Nathan, laugh. Then it was time to go on stage. Walking to the side entrance, Nath puts on one of his new hats and pulls one of his old ones from his jacket pocket. He puts it on you and you both smile at each other. Then he runs on stage after The Wanted are announced.
