"Ready to go?" Nathan asked when the two of you had settled into the hotel room and gotten changed in your bathing suit.

"Yeah!" You say excitedly. He laughed.

"I'll meet you in the lobby. I have to tell the boys something." He said, giving you a quick kiss before heading to Tom's room.

You wave good-bye and head to the elevator. Inside there was a man that looked to be Jay's age. He was tall with short black hair and wearing expensive-looking clothes. He looked like one of those rich snobs who get everything they want because of how much money they have. He smiled at you. You smile back, trying to be polite.

As the doors closed, he crept closer towards you. You shifted uncomfortably. He came closer and closer. You looked up: fifth floor. Almost there, you think to yourself. He put his hands on your waist and you shook him off.

"Don't touch me." You say angrily. He pushes you against the wall of the elevator and comes close to your face. Luckily, the doors opened and you freed yourself, hurrying out into the lobby, thankful to get away from him. You sit in a chair and wait for Nathan.

About three minutes later, the elevator opens up and coming out is a smiling Nathan, picnic basket and towels in hand.

"Hey!" You say, running up to hug him.

"Hey." He smiles. He takes your hand with his free one and walks towards the back exit so the fans don't see. You walk together to the beach, which was right behind the hotel, and find a spot to sit down.

"What'd you have to tell the boys?" You ask.

"That we were going to be here if they need us." He said and you nod. You stand up and head towards the water and look down. In the sand, you see something gleaming in the sunlight. You bend down and pick it up. It's a seashell, a really pretty one.

Nathan comes over and looks at it.

      "Isn't it pretty?" You ask.

"Not as pretty as you." He grinned. Cheesy, you know, but sweet. You laugh. You put it by the picnic basket and run back into the waves. The water was warm, so you go in to your waist. Nathan follows and stands beside you.

The sun was setting, so the sky was different shades of orange, pink, and red. You get an idea and inch closer to Nathan, trying to not make him notice. Then, when he wasn't paying any attention, you push his sideways and into the water. He comes up laughing.

"What was that for?" He asked.

     "Payback." You grin.

"Oh, it's on!" He said and runs after you. You run out of the water and by the picnic basket. You double over laughing as he tries to get out of the water but the waves kept knocking him down since he was off balance. Finally, he gets into the sand and runs after you.

"No!" You scream and run away. He kept coming after you. Finally, after about two minutes of running around, he catches you, picks you up, and spins you around and around. He carries you back to the towels and sits you in the sand. He gets out six sandwiches and you give him a puzzled look.

He looks up and nods his head in the direction of the hotel. The other boys were running in the sand towards you and Nathan, screaming and randomly singing lyrics to their songs.

"Sh! You're gonna be heard by the girls!" You say while laughing. They shrug. They sit down and each take a sandwich, all having meat but Jay's, which was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich since he's a vegetarian.

"Good sandwiches, Nath! At least you can make something that won't kill us!" Tom says with a mouthful, causing everyone to burst out laughing.

"Ha-ha, very funny." Nathan says, making a face at him and putting his arm around you.

When everyone was done eating, you and Nathan sit by the water, the waves reaching your feet. He put his arm around you and brought you close. After about ten minutes, he stood up and joined the boys. They came closer, looking down at you.

"Ready, lads?" Max asked the others and they all nod. Then, everyone started singing Heart Vacancy, Siva somehow having his guitar and playing along.

When they got to the chorus, Nathan took your hand and brought you close. He got on one knee and looked into your eyes while the others watched and sang with him, the waves gently beating against the shore in rhythm to the music.
