You change into a red dress and pull on some shorts under it. You've never really liked wearing dresses, so whenever you did, you'd put on some shorts under it. You put on some black flats and curl your hair a little bit. Nathan was already ready to go, so he was waiting at the bottom of the steps for you.
You quietly walk down the steps, as he is looking the other way, obviously he hadn't noticed you yet. On the last step, he turns and looks at you.
"You look..........Amazing!" He finally gets out.
"Thanks." You blush. He reaches out for your hand and you take it. He leads you out to the car and opens and shuts the door for you. Luckily he knew where he was going, 'cause you had absolutely no idea Where you were or where you were heading.
Five minutes later the car pulls into the parking lot of an expensive-looking restaurant.
"No, Nathan. This is too much." You say.
"It's fine. You deserve only the best that I can give." He said and took your hand in his. You blush. He laughed, noticing.
You went inside and a blonde wiatress led the two of you to your table. She kept looking back at Nathan, smiling flirtaciously, and obviously trying her best to ignore you being there. Nath squeezed your hand tighter, aware of what the waitress was doing.
"Don't worry." Nath whispered softly into your ear. He pulled out your chair for you and pushed it in when you sat down like a gentleman. You laugh.
"I'll be back in a minute to take your order." The waitress, nametag saying 'Selena', said, rolling her eyes at Nathan's attention towards you.
"Okay, thank you." Nathan said politely.
"Thanks." You say. She just turned on her heels and walked away. Nathan looked at you and laughed.
"What?" You ask, confused.
"Nothing." He said, trying his best not to laugh any more.
"Tell me." You plead.
"Okay. I just think it's funny how you get jealous when a girl flirts with me. Which, knowing me and how sexy I am, happend a lot." He winked.
"I do not get jealous!" You protest. Yeah, you did, but you weren't going to admit it to him.
"You do to!" He laughed, not being able to keep it in.
You cross your arms and look the other way, pretending to be mad at him. You look at him out of the corner of your eye and break into a smile. He laughed.
Selena came back to take your orders. Both you and Nathan ordered spaghetti, mostly because the other foods on the menu you couldn't pronounce or had no idea what they were. When she left, Nathan reached across the table to hold your hand once more.
"Can you believe how this happened?" He asks, looking into your eyes.
You were puzzled for a moment, but understood what he was talking about. "No, I can't." You laugh a little. He smiled. He was talking about the two of you, and how you came to be together.
"But I'm glad it did." He whispered. He leaned across the table and kissed you. You smile. "God, I love your smile." He says.
"I can say the same about you." You say and he laughed. Just then, you heard Weakness playing. It was Nathan's phone ringing. You laugh and he looks at it. He smiles.
"What is it?" You ask. He holds out the phone for you to read. It was a text from Siva. All it said was 'Soon'. You look at Nathan.
"Basically, it means that you should know the secret soon." He winked as the food came. You both thank the waitress, her still not being able to keep her eyes off of Nathan.
"You single?" She asked hoepfully. Really? You thought. Could she not see that he was on a date?
"No. This is my girlfriend, Y/N." He says, looking at you and smiling his heart-melting smile. She huffed and walked away.
You both laugh and eat your dinner. Afterwards, when the check was payed (which Nathan wouldn't let you see), you walked to the doors of the restaurant, hand-in-hand. Nathan looked over at you and was so lost that he ran into the door.
"Nathan!" You say and laugh. "You seriously didn't just do that!"
"I think I did." He said. You tried really hard not to double over in laughter. Everyone was looking at the two of you and finally turned their attention back to their dinner.
"Nice!" You exclaim. He looked embarassed. "You're so cute." You say and kiss his cheek. That made him smile.
"I've never really done that before." He said walking back to the car.
"That was something JAY would've done. What made YOU?" You ask, laughing.
He looked at the ground. "The truth?" You nod. "I got lost in thought looking into your eyes."
"What were you thinking about?" You ask.
"You'll know someday." He said.
Back at the house, you change into one of Nathan's favorite T-shirts and some black shorts. He smiled when he saw that.
"I love it when you wear my things." He said, coming into the room. You laughed. Honestly, you loved wearing his shirts. You walk downstairs to the living room together and snuggle up on the couch.
You turn on the TV and see that the Big Bang Theory was on. That was one of your favorite shows, even though Sheldon Cooper almost always confused you. The two of you watched it, laughing every now and then. When it was over, you shared some of the best memories you've had.
"What was the best choice you've ever made?" Nathan asked, his arm around you.
"What's yours?" You ask, looking up at him.
"Gaining the courage to ask you out." He said, playing with some loose strands of your hair.
"Really?" You ask.
"Yeah, really. Now what's yours?" He smiles down at you.
"Saying 'Yes'." You say. You kiss him. You lay your head on his chest and listen to his heart beat. Eventually you fell asleep, because the next thing you knew, you were being carried up the steps to the bedroom. Nathan laid you gently on the bed, pulled the covers over you, and walked out of the room.
A minute later he came back, dressed in his pajamas, and climbed into bed next to you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you close, just like he did almost every night. Maggie came in and curled into a ball by your legs. He leaned over and kissed you softly on the lips.
"Goodnight, Y/N." He whispers.
