Whitey's Pov:

I sighed sitting with Bill in there office sorting paperwork till the door opened and it was y/n my girlfriend "Aww hello honey" I smile

"Hello whitey" she giggles walking towards the desk bill was at

"Wrong desk Y/n" Bill laughed

"Ohh sorry," she says turning and slowly coming over to my desk so I grabbed her hand carefully letting her come forward a little towards me

"Y/n? where are your glasses?" I ask her

"They broke" she smiles

"So? can ya see me?" I ask her

"Kinda, I know that your head" she smiles putting her hand on my face

"Ow" I complain

"Kissy?" she asks

"Alright" I laugh giving her a kiss

"How the hell can you stomach kissing that damn boy? I struggle just getting close he stinks so much" Bill laughs

"no bother to me" she giggles "I can't smell it" she giggles sitting on my lap and tucking her head into my neck

"Ohh right, I forget you're a -" Bill began

"Don't" I warn him quietly

"Ohh I need to ask whitey what do you want for dinner?" she asks

"Uhh stew would be nice," I tell her

"Okay" she smiles "I should be going" she smiles getting up and brushing her dress off a little

"Alright, You be careful out there," I tell her holding her hands and giving her head a soft little kiss

"I will I promise" she smiles slowly going of home

"why do you stay with here? a girl like that is not going to be happy" Bill asks

"I like her, she wasn't always like this ya know, she used to be alright" I explain

"But she can't see, she can't hear very well, she cant smell and she can hardly taste anything" he explained "she's losing everything" he sighed

"I know, she is getting worse...slowly but she is still sweet and I still love her" I answer

"You should likely go, make sure she's alright on her own," he told me so I sigh grabbing my jacket and going out into La Belle, a few of the ladies greeted me as I went past going back home as I came in I saw Y/n sat without her glasses next to the mirror trying to brush her hair and braid flowers in it

"Hello darlin'," I tell her she didn't respond to me she just sat humming away so I shut the door and went over checking the food it tasted a bit ...funny so I had a bit of a mess adding some things and it tasted much better I do kinda feel a bit bad for her she tries so hard to cook but when she can't spell and can barely taste she does her best as soon as it was fixed I went and stood behind her wrapping my arms around her tightly "hello darlin'" I smile

"Ohh hello whitey, When did you get back?" she asks

"Not long ago, are you alright?" I ask her

"Yeah I tripped up a couple of times but I'm alright" she smiles as she kept making plaits in her hair working the flowers in slowly but sweetly

"where are your glasses darling?" I ask her

"I forget" she smiles

"Alright I'll find them for you," I told her kissing her head I went around the house looking for her glasses till I found them and the middle had completely snapped I sat for a few minutes fixing them for her "Here ya go darlin," I tell her giving her the now fixed glasses

"Ohh thank you" she smiles slipping her glasses on "Ohh, I look this awful and you still let me put flowers in my hair?" she asks

"You look, cute honey, I like watching what you do when you think you're alone, you always just let yourself be blind and you just enjoy yourself" I smiled giving her a kiss

"Okay, if you say so" she smiles hugging me tightly

"Darling? when you can see me do you still love me?" I ask her

"Of course I do whitey, you just extra handsome when I can see you" she smiles kissing my cheek a kiss

"You might someday lose your sight completely ya know," I tell her

"I know, but you'll stay with me won't you?" she asks

"Of course I will, I will still love you," I tell her "Will you still love me when you can't see me?" I ask her

"Of course" she smiles "so long as you'll keep me safe," she says hugging me tightly

"I promise darling, no matter what," I tell her "Come on let's get some dinner," I tell her putting her cute little flower braid behind her
