I rode though the vast empty desert of new Mexico I needed a place to hold up for the evening to get some food in me and some rest, I stopped as the sun began to set below the vast hills about to get down off my little pony and set up my tent but I saw not far from me on the horizon sat the unmistakeable light of the town, It must have been a mining town by the looks of it and of how close it sat to the hills as if the town was built around the mine shaft, "Come on sugar Maybe that little place has a glass of whiskey and some hay waiting for us" I told her petting her mane, giving her a kick and heading off the dust and dirt kicking up around me as I hurried though into the town. It seemed my arrival sparked the interest of this little mining town, they must not get many visitors. I saw a hotel, a bar, a sheriffs office, a undertakes, and a graveyard with more stones then I could count. Everywhere I looked where women in long dresses and hats. I looked to the Sherriff's Office seeing the wooden sign above the doors and windows 'Sheriff Office, La Belle New Mexico Territories'

"La Belle?" I asked more to myself "Hey? One of you ladies show me to a whiskey bottle and a Rest for my little girl here?" I asked jumping down from my horse fixing my dress petting my horse

"Of course, the bar's open till midnight Tie your horse up anywhere" A lady says at the hotel steps

"Thanks" I smiled as I looked around "Hey? where's the uhhh You know?" I smirked

"We don't have one I'm afraid" she says a little surprised by my request "Miss Magdalena cleared out of here a few months back" she says

"It's fine, don't worry about it. Poor boys without a whore house" I laughed

"It's not a worry" she says

"Isn't it? they all got pretty wives like you?" I asked

"No, we had a uhh mining accident" she says

"An accident? how many men are left then?"

"Just the dry goodsman, the undertaker, sheriff and the deputy"

"A town of women?"

"Yes mam" she nodded before going inside

"I see, I rather think I like it here" I smiled taking my horse over to a troff at the sheriffs office, seemed like the safest place while I went for a drink, beside a sweet brown horse "Hey sugar you have a nice rest till I get back okay?" I told her petting her mane

"Ohh, I thought for a minuet ya where callin' me sugar?" a voice asked, I looked up seeing a tall and slender boy stood on the porch of the office putting his hat on and resting his hands on his two guns either side of his hips

"No, sorry" I smiled getting a good look at him, I could tell I haven't felt the touch of anyone for a few long months and a man for even longer, I wanted to grab that boy by his crossed gun belts and drag him to a flat surface "Sheriff I take it?" I asked

"Deputy actually" He said coming down to be beside me "Deputy Whitey Winn, Nice to meet ya long lady"

"Y/n, Pleasure to meet you To Mr Winn" I smiled

"This your mare?" He asked giving sugar a pet

"Yeah, since I was a little girl" I smiled

"Ya can tell, she's well looked after" He smiled

"This yours?" I asked looking to the brown horse beside us

"Yeah, Ted. He's a good boy" He smiled giving his horse a pet too "He'll take good care of her don't ya worry" He says "Ted ya look after Miss Y/n's horse alright,"

"No funny business I hope?"

"No never, he ain't that kinda boy"

"Ohh? Like his Master then I presume?"

"I'd say so little lady" He nodded

"Ya busy?"

"Uhh just heading to the bar for a whiskey nightcap before bed" He shrugs

"well I was just on my way too" I smiled offering my arm "Could you find it in your time to escort a little lady to the bar on this dark dangerous evening?"

"Well, I gotta on this dangerous evenin' better make sure your safe" He smiled taking my arm

"Good, I'll buy ya a whiskey Whitey" I smirked tugging him along with me, I think I'm gonna like this place.

I smirked as I rode into Labelle waving to the women as I did "Afternoon miss dune"

"Afternoon Y/n" she waved

"Afternoon Mary Agnes" I smiled to her

"Hiya y/n, where you been off to today?" she asked

"Here, there and everywhere" I smirked circling sugar by the end of her house just to talk more "You seen my where My husband at?"

"Exactly where you left him" she laughs

"Thanks Mary Agnes" I smiled going across town to the sheriff office tieing sugar up next to ted giving both a few pets and cuddles

"hey little lady" I heard making me look up to the porch seeing the tall and skinny Whitey Winn leaning on the porch smiling at me

"Hello my little hubby" I smirked jumping onto the porch grabbing his jumper and pulling his lips to kiss me he happily kissed back wrapping his arms around my waist to pull me closer to him the intensity of his kisses like he was trying to push me over or push me against the wall till I pulled back already feeling him against me

"I missed ya"
"I missed you too" I smiled "Come on, I haven't seen you for a week, Little lady needs her hubby" I smirked grabbing him by the buckle of his gunbelts and dragging him into the office locking the door behind me.
