It's a week later and Hyung and I decided to close the shop down for a few days to repaint the walls. I'm working on stacking up the chairs together when a pair of hands suddenly hugs me from behind.
From the corner of my eye, I see a cute face pouting over my shoulders.
"Are you done putting away the decors, hyung?"
He nods.
"We've been working all day. Let's get some rest already...
The painters won't come until the day after so we can finish up tomorrow."
He buries his face into my back. Hyung has been more comfortable with intimacy over the span of just a week and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
"Should we start getting dinner ready then?"
"No..let's celebrate and eat out tonight."
"Huh? Celebrate what?"
"A week of us as a couple."
Hyung regrets it the moment he said it and he buries his face down again.
I turn around, taking his hands off me just to place them on my chest again and to rest my own arms around his waist.
I love teasing him more and seeing his face grow even redder.
"But do people celebrate that?"
"Well..what do people celebrate then?"
"Hmmm...there's one for 100 days or something like that."
"But that's like..93 days away. It's too far.
Let's just celebrate today too.
I want cake."
Chuckling, I pull him closer to me.
"We can have cake...but I'm expecting a visitor today."
"Who??" Hyung steps back with a sour face.
I just caught myself a jealous and clingy boyfriend and I love it.
"He's a friend of the both of us."
"Who do you mean?" His face softens and looking down, I take his hands in mine.
"Jungkook...Jungkook's coming here."
"What??? Why?? But How ??"
"I called them. They're all coming over in a few days. Jungkook just called to say he landed about an hour ago."
Hyung breaks away from my hands and takes a seat on one of the chairs. He looks distraught and frightened.
I follow immediately, getting down on my knees infront of him and reaching out to hold his hands again which he willingly offers.
"Hyung? Are you mad at me? You've been talking about missing them all week. I thought it'll be a nice surprise."
"No, I'm not mad. I'm just..."
He presses his lips tight and shook his head softly.
"You're just...?"
"I'm...scared, Taehyung-ah. What do I say when I face them? They're probably mad at me still...
We haven't cleared up about anything.
I have so much to tell them and.."
I squeeze his hands firmly which are shaking a bit. Looking up, I meet his glossy, worried eyes.
I've vowed to myself that I would do everything I can to lessen his pain and this was one of my first approaches.
I lean in forward to give him a little peck on the forehead.
"You don't have to worry about that. I already mailed them some letters. That should have cleared up everything that needs to be."
"Huh?..what letters?"
I stand up with a smile on my face, my phone is buzzing and I can tell it probably must be from Kook.
