"Have you ever been in love, oppa?"
I turn my head over at the naked girl in my arms. She wears a coy expression, her legs seductively thrown over mine, with nothing but the silk sheets covering what little remains of her dignity. Her painted nails runs over my bare chest as she hums along.
"Hmmmm,oppa?" She repeats.
"What was the question?" I reply uninterested.
"Love. Have you ever loved someone before?"
"Why is that question important here?" I scoff.
"I'm just curious... You're too perfect and handsome to have no one in your life before me. I don't believe you." She pouts.
She's asking but I know what she wants to hear. What they all want to hear. They want to hear me tell them they're the special one.
My special one.
But I don't give a shit about what they want. I don't have the energy nor do I want to entertain them.
"There was someone," I pull my hand off from under her head, running it over my hair.
"Really? What happened?" She lifts her torso up and rests her chin on my chest, batting her lashes at me.
"It's complicated."
"Aiiisshh...just tell me," she presses on.
"I really don't want to talk about it." I press my lips tighter showing my annoyance.
She gets the hint and pouts again.
"Then, tell me this atleast. Was she pretty? More than me? Come on...I deserve to know this. I'm your girlfriend now," she continues to whine.
I let out a deep sigh. Crossing my arms under my head, I look up at the ceiling. It's grey and dull. The whole room looks dull. The whole apartment, whatever million Won it costs, looks stupidly dull. Everything looks dull. And I hate it.
"H..She was beautiful," I murmur softly.
I hear a tsk come from my 'girlfriend'. The whole atmosphere feels stuffy.
"You got me all moody. Is this what a girlfriend is supposed to do?" I glance at her.
She perks up at my mention of 'girlfriend'. Her coy nature comes back into play and she shifts, straddling me.
"Then, what is a girlfriend supposed to do?" She leans forward, taking my face in her hands.
"Kiss me,"I demand.
She lets out a giggle and her lips inches closer to mine and....
"CUT!!"
"That's it!"
The director shouts sharply.
The actress, whose lips are just millimetres away, lifts herself suddenly off me and gets out the bed. She bows to me repeatedly as she is ushered away by her assistants. I pull the sheets closer to hide my chest as I wait for my own assistants and manager.
The dull grey room is cluttered with dozens of people. Cameras, lights and mics. People are rushing around and two of my assistants hurries my way with my clothes.
I start to button up my shirt when my manager comes towards me, scratching his head. He stands infront of me, sighing and delaying whatever he wants to say.
"What?" I say straightening the wrinkles on my coat.
"They're not too happy even though they're not saying anything, Taehyung-ssi," he says not too loudly.
"About what?"
"Well..you refused a kiss scene. I don't know what's the big deal?" He sits down on a chair infront of me.
