While Jungkook did his disappearing act, I had to sneak in the manual way.

I was practically out of breath the time I got up the ladder to the top of the warehouse roof; I would have usually been less out of breath, but the stress of the situation was making my heart pound twice as fast. Though it was cold outside, I was starting to sweat profusely.

Once at the top platform that lined the back of the warehouse, I looked around the area with my hands on my knees. My eyes scanned for any hidden cameras around, but I couldn't seem to catch any particularly. There had only been some on the sides and front of the warehouse, which Jungkook and I got around, but there seemed to not be any in the back.

It took me a hot minute to calm down. After, I shook my body off slightly and looked around for any entrances. There were windows that were dusty--much worse than the black market warehouse windows. I approached one of them, placing a couple of my fingertips on it. To my surprise, the glass squeaked open a little.

I waited a second for the squeak to disappear and for any other noises inside of the building, but there seemed to be none. I bit down on my lip out of a little fear, trying to open the window some more without it squeaking so I could slip it. It squeaked a few times, but it managed to come to a stop where I could go through.

I went in with a bit of discomfort, the dust catching onto my darker jacket that hugged me. I didn't bother to swipe it off, only focused on the metal grounding that was held above the ground. I had to balance myself on the window with the ends of my fingers to get into the building with the least amount of noise as possible.

My footsteps weren't too loud once I was in and crouched down on the ground. I could see through some slits on the floating aisles, hearing the faint sounds of people talking with each other below. I saw some figures moving from below, but it didn't look like there were a ton like I had been anticipating. It made a breath of relief escape me.

I looked back and forth across the metal grounding, no one on the top with me. I was the only one up there along with some chains dangling there with me. I was just afraid, while looking down at the people, that they all would see me move. That was my greatest fear.

"Y/N."

My whole body jumped a mile high, but a pair of arms wrapped around me to stop any sound that would come from the reaction. No one was around for a moment, though, soon enough, Jungkook materialized out of thin air, his face just next to mine.

"Holy shit, you scared me," I hissed at him, slapping his arm a little. It was muffled by the jacket that covered his arms. "Don't do that!"

"Quiet," he told me in a whisper, giving a slight glare. His arms unwrapped from around me, his hands placing down by his crouched sides. He was staring at the floor. "I saw about six when I was down there, guns by their sides. They were all pretty big, too. With just the two of us, it would be hard to take them all down at once, so if we have to, we can take them down one by one."

"Can you see anymore?"

"Only through the bottom of this," he murmured, his eyes still scanning the ground. "Honestly I can see everyone in the building except for the small rooms that I saw off to the side because their walls seem to be pretty thick. There's just six that I know of."

My next question related to the Defenders: "Did you see any suspicious packaging?"

"No," he sighed with a shake of his head. "Just a bunch of boxes that look like they're being used for actual shipping. This place gives me hints that this was originally a clothing company with all the clothing I saw. There's no weird boxes or fridges, though."

"Dammit."

"Want me to keep searching?" he turned his head to me, an eyebrow raising up. "You can do some looking from above and I can try slipping into those rooms."

"Are your powers limited? Don't be using all the energy so soon." There was no way that Jungkook had unlimited energy to be using his powers. I wore off after awhile and so did all the other Defenders I saw at the Services. Jungkook had to have a breaking point.

"I'm not super mentally drained yet," he gave me a faint, reassuring smile. "Once I am, my invisibility won't work any longer and my x-ray vision will be a little bit sloppy, but we're okay right now."

"Don't get to that point," I warned him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "When unnoticed, don't use your invisibility. It'll conserve some power."

"I know, I know," Jungkook brushed my words off. He reached over and pecked me on the cheek. "I'm around if you need me." And with that, he disappeared into the air.

A quiet sigh escaped me, my head shaking. I couldn't help but think of the worst: Jungkook running out of energy and me having to come save the day. If Jungkook said that the guys below us looked tough, I didn't want to take them on myself. That wasn't on my to-do list for the day.

I pressed my back against the wall as much as I could and slowly stood up, making sure that no one was spotting me. There was no shouts, no cries. There was a loud, bellowed laugh that made me wince a little, but other than that I was in the clear zone for the time being.

With quiet feet, I tiptoed across the metal balcony, finding that it was a maze at the top of the warehouse. My eyes were wide at how large the place was, not expecting how big it could even get. It might have been a bit smaller than the black market one, but it was still huge.

I looked across the ground that I could see from being against the wall. There were tall storage shelves that were about four feet below the platforms, some still littered with boxes that were overflowing with different clothing. The voices still sounded from below, my nervous body anxious to get to a safe point, but there didn't seem to be any up above.

"Hey, Boss has another shipment coming in soon! We gotta ready up the van!"

My feet froze in their spot, my ears perking up. I slowly turned to peek over the ledge of the platform, finding a pretty tall guy walking towards a buff one. Jungkook was right, the guards did have guns. They didn't seem to be noticing me, though, as the tall one hurried up and stopped.

"A new shipment? So early? Damn these guys are good!" the buff one shouted. A large grin visibly came over his face. A dark feeling came through my gut at the thought of Hoseok and Yoongi unknowingly giving these guys appendixes would possibly destroy some of the safety in the city.

"Yeah, yeah. Just go get the van ready," the tall one said with annoyance to the other guy, nodding his head the way he came from. "We need to keep those organs cold or we're gonna get our asses whooped by the man in charge."

Looking at the taller guy, I started to recognize his voice and face. It took me a second to realize the guy was a former employer of Yoongi and Hoseok's. It was when I had first met them that they fired him because he was doing a sloppy job at harvesting the organs. He had been pissed. That put a bit of a struggle on the business for a few weeks.

Something suddenly grabbed me from behind and yanked me back. A small cry escaped me with my hair being tugged, my back crashing into something sturdy. I didn't have time to react until there was a knife pressed against the front of my throat.

Not the throat, not the throat, not the throat PLEASE.

"We seem to have a little burglar, hm?"
