Pink Lace and Birthdays

"I can’t accept this."

"Yes you ca’n."

"Merida there’s nothing here!" The blonde shrieked, "There’s just string!"

"No, it ha’ some lace!" The red head countered, taking the baby pink lace panties and holding them up to her best friend. They did in fact have lace to cover her womanhood with a pretty little white bow. The rest were pink g-string.

Rapunzel blushed, grabbing the garment from her hands and tucking it back into the nice little bag it came from. She couldn’t believe that Merida had gotten her lingerie! Out of all the things the girl could’ve gotten for her, this was it? She knew that Rapunzel wasn’t exactly the most sexually adventurous girl, hell she just had sex for the first time a year and a half ago. Lingerie and sexual awareness was more Meridas style. The blonde still blushed at sex scenes in movies!

"Oh come on, Punzie! It es Jack’s birt’day." Merida smirked, "and you said you didn’t know what to get him."

Rapunzel glared at her friend, “I meant that I didn’t know what to buy him, not give him a heart attack!”

Merida laughed before pulling the other part of the set from her girls lap. She held it up to the girl and watched at the blush on her face seemed to get darker. It was a see-through matching baby pink camisole, a pink bow held it all together in the middle of the breasts. Rapunzel hid her face in her hands.

"What’s supposed to go underneath?!"

"You, duh!" Merida leaned over the arm of the couch and pulled another large pink bag out. She dipped her hands in excitedly and pulled out a pair of white heels and thigh high baby pink stockings. She seemed much more excited then Rapunzel did about all this.

"No way! I can’t wear this!"

"Aww, why not?"

"It’s too embarrassing! Ill look dumb! Just take it back!"

"Nope, aye bought it fer you, you got tae keep it."

"If I keep it I’m going to return it first thing tomorrow."

Both girls glared at each other, seeing who would fold first. While it was usually Rapunzel who gave it, the embarrassment had set in and fueled the flame of her stubbornness. It was Merida who rolled her blue eyes and handed the girl the large bag after putting everything back, including the return receipts.

"Her’, but you have tae promise mae you’ll at least try it on."

Merida let her bottom lip stick out a bit. Rapunzel groaned, hugging her bags to her chest,

"Fine, Ill try them on but that’s it."

Merida grinned.

Rapunzel took a deep breath. She had taken a shower and was getting ready for her birthday dinner with Jack. It was officially his twenty third birthday today and she already told him that she was taking him out to his favorite restaurant and to the ice skating rink. She had the owners be able to put in the Christmas settings for some extra cash so that it snowed. She was really excited to see his face.

She had yet to find him a gift. It was hard to buy for someone who seemed to be happy with anything. He wasnt a picky person and he cared more about having fun than material possessions which made gift shopping rather difficult. She loved humans wanted to give him the world. He was the first boy to show her what it was like to live and have fun. He was her first for almost everything except her first kiss. That was Flynn and Jack didnt like to bring that up.

Rapunzel put the blow dryer down on the counter, her long blonde hair was dry and smooth, falling down her towel clad back. She began to put on her simple make up: powder, lip gloss, blush and some mascara. She walked out to put on her dress when the glint of pink caught her eye.
