"You’ve reached Hiccup Haddock, I cant come to the phone right now. If you leave your name and number, I’ll try to give you a call back."

BEEP

"H-Hey, Hiccup, can you give me a call back as soon as you get this? I kinda…umm.." Jack looked through the door again as if making sure that his eyes werent playing tricks on him. Nope this was all very real. "I kinda have a problem. Call me back."

Jack hung up the phone and leaned against the wall, hitting his head with the top of his cell phone. Soft humming echoed through the beach house along with playful splashing and giggles. He took a deep breath and stood in the door way of his bathroom.

"God I must be dreaming…"

A beautiful girl sat in his bathtub, letting the clear water fill up her soft hands then trickle through them back into the pool. Her hair hung over the side of the tub, long waves of gold that had dried and still shone like the sun. She had the biggest brightest green eyes he had ever seen, her pink kissable lips in a natural pout. Her voice was heavenly and drew him to her though he stayed leaned against the door frame for one reason. That reason being the glittering green and opalescent tail that hung over the other side of the tub, swishing.

She looked over at him and turned her body in the water so she face him, her arms resting on the lip of the tub and her bare breasts barely covered by what hair had fallen over her shoulders.

"What did your human friend say?" she asked with an excited look in her eyes. He looked away but let a small forced smile come to his lips as his cheeks turned red.

"He didnt pick up." he replied.

She tilted her head cutely and furrowed her brow, “And this..ce-ll phune..if allows you to speak with him without a messenger?” she asked.

He slid to the floor, leaning against the door way. He still wore his swim trunks and tank top, barefoot. “Yep. But he wasnt there.”

"Oh, I am sorry you’re friend did not communicate back with you."

"It’s okay." he said softly, looking back over at her before looking away, "Are you alright in there?" he asked.

"Oh I’m fine. Your home is very nice…and very dry." she looked about the bathroom then back to the pale white haired male. She frown as he did not look at her, "Are you sad, human?"

"What? No, I just…" he leaned his head back against the hard wood, "I’ve never met a…a…"

"Mermaid." she said brightly. He grimaced.

"Right, a mer..maid."

"I have not ever met a human. What kind of human are you?"

He looked at her and raised an eyebrow, “The homosapien kind?”

Her eyes widened and she nodded as though she understood.

"What do they call you?"

"Jack Overland."

"Ah! Jack Overland is a very strong name." she giggled, splashing while her fin swished back and forth with her excitement.

"Whats yours?"

"Rapunzel." she said with the same annoyingly happy, go-lucky smile.

"Well, it’s nice to meet you, Rapunzel." he said politely. She clapped her hands excitedly and her fin glittered in the lights of his bathroom.

"Nice to meet you too, Jack Overland!"

He let a smile come to his face, “Just Jack.”

"Oh, okay, Just Jack." she giggled and splashed the water cutely with her hands while he tried to watch her bare breasts bounce with her happiness. He put his head in his hands. Had he known he was saving a mermaid from the fisherman’s net and not a dolphin, he might have tried to prepare better.
