It had been about a month that the girls were in Oklahoma. Ava had been handling it pretty well. Her friends were there so she wasn't alone. But she still wanted to figure out why she was here in the first place and how she can get back home.

Two-Bit had taken her and Johnny out to the Nighty Double that night to watch a movie or just mess around. The movie was one of the crappy beach movies with no point again, so they decided to head home. The car ride home didn't go as Ava really expected.

"So Johnnycake, are you ever gonna move back in with those parents of yours?" Two-Bit mentioned.

"Probably not for a long time. I don't want to be around them right now and they wouldn't let Ava in at all, they probably will just hit her like they do to me and I don't want that happening to her."

"You know, Johnnycake, I could just take care of her." Two-Bit said, without letting Johnny see the jokester in his eyes.

"Uhm.. I wouldn't want to burden you like that.." Johnny staggered.

"Johnny, have you ever been in love before?" Two-Bit smirked, and Johnny knew he was gonna tease him. Ava didn't know where this was going, but for some reason she didn't want to know.

"No.." Johnny could feel himself turning red.

"How about now?" Two-Bit teased.

"Two-Bit..." Johnny said quietly.

Ava got very uncomfortable. Did they know that I liked him? He was a really nice boy and he was cute behind all his scars.. But she never told anyone, and she never thought she showed it. Maybe she did.

The car stopped at Two-Bits house, and everyone got out.

Ava took a seat on Two-Bit's couch. Two-Bit immediately sat down next to her and put his legs up so Johnny couldn't sit down. Johnny just sat down on the other couch and didn't say a word.

"Hey, Johnny, maybe I should switch ya seats, your lookin kinda jealous." He smirked at Johnny.

"Man, stop, I'm not jealous," Johnny replied, clearly getting annoyed at Two-Bit's teasing. Ava was amused at their bickering. They were arguing over her, which made her feel special. Johnny's face was turning red, and Ava lit up. So he did like her, just like she liked him. His face was cute when he blushed.

She could see him getting flustered, so she got up and sat next to him.

"Here," Ava smiled at him. He didn't smile, trying not to set off Two-Bit, but the look in his eyes showed Ava he was enjoying her presence.

"Would you look at that, Johnnycake, the gal likes you too."

Ava felt herself blush and looked away from Two-Bit, and Johnny looked at her. She looked up at him and he smiled. Boy, he really was cute. He had the most beautiful smile. It was nice to see, since Johnny never really smiles. She felt really bad for him, the way he has to live. He shouldn't have to live like that. No one should.

"You guys should hook up." Two-Bit said as he watched Mickey Mouse intensely.

Ava looked back at Johnny, expecting him to say something. He didn't. He just stared at her. She didn't know what to do. She never had a boyfriend before- or a moment like this one. What would my friends do? She thought, thinking about Stina and Maddy, who have had a boyfriend before. Maybe she should do something from a movie. She still didn't know, so she did what her conscience told her. She leaned in and kissed him passionately. It didn't last long before, unfortunately, Two-Bit interrupted it with his wolf whistle. She blushed so bad she could feel it. But she was proud of herself. This is the first time she kissed a boy, and as her friends will soon say, she nailed it.
