Maddy's POV

I sat on my bed, clutching several Outsiders books, just praying that all is going to be well back there, and we can all come back worry free without Socs, Christophers, and the media. I just wanna be with my best friends and my boys, who are the best that I've ever found. They are like flawless, each of them. I will fight for them.

It turned out that it would just be us, including Ellie, this time. Our parents had too many responsibilities back home. They just wished us good luck and left the room just incase they would be sucked into it too.

"Be Back Soon"

So there we were, all 13 of us, sitting in a circle with our books. Everyone was staring at me, and it was making me uncomfortable.

I couldn't decide whether to read the first chapter again, or to read the second. I thought it would be better to just stay on the same page, literally speaking, and have them read their own descriptions this time. Maybe that will make a little bit of a difference.
I took a deep breath before starting us out. But then we were interrupted by someone in the doorway.

My mom looked sympathetic. "I'm sorry, we tried to keep him out, but he just won't listen. I'll let you guys take care of this."

Chris smiled at us.

I got up, clenching my fists, ready to nail him in the face. I was so close, too, until 2 grown boys had to hold me back by each arm. They let me go when they thought I cooled down.

I gave him a deadly glare, and he followed with a crooked, evil smile.
"What do you want? This is my house and your invading it."

"Oh, nothing. I heard your leaving today, and like I said, I'm coming." He replied.

"No you aren't." I shot back

"Oh lookie here, it's the FBI on speed dial. I can just report you. You have book characters, which could be plotting to take over the United States, who knows, they might not even die. They are a threat to society, and can be taken away just like that. I mean, if you want it to be that way."

"Want to try it pal?" I clenched my teeth and lunged at him, only to be held back again, by Ponyboy.

"C'mon, Maddy, we gotta do what he says, I don't see why it's so much of a problem, anyway." Ponyboy lied, and I could hear it in his voice.

I gave him a cold stare, then threw a book at his face.

"Ow, that's abuse, I could report you
for that too." He winked.

"Shut the hell up and open the damn book you dumb ass!" I yelled.

"What happens if I don't?" He smart-assed.

I got up close to him and jammed my finger in his neck. "You listen here, if you don't open that damn book and shut your smart ass mouth, your not gonna be able to come with us, so instead of trying to act smart, do what I say, or stay here and cry because you'll have no one to shadow."

He rolled his eyes and opened his book, taking a seat next to Ponyboy.

Oh hell nah.

You can smart talk me.

You can annoy the hell out of me.

You can beat me up, for gods sake.

But you cannot.

CANNOT.

Sit next to my man.

Where I'm supposed to be.

WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

I angrily shoved him over, taking his place.

"What was that for?" He asked
