(Lol ik I make too many of these notes at the beginning but the story is really slow and boring these first few chapters but when the main chapters come into play it'll get way better. Promise.)

Maddy's POV

I couldn't help but smile uncontrollably as my friends' families became one again. The tears of joy that slid down their faces and all the smiles. Everyone was home again. And I couldn't be happier.

After we told all the stories and introduced everybody, we had to decide what we were going to do with the boys. We can't just leave them here with no place to go, no food or anything. Not to mention how cold it gets during the winter here. Oklahoma is so much different than Pennsylvania. Considering that were 1000 miles apart.

"I have an idea" all heads turned to me. "Let's split us all up. Dally helped Jordan, so Jordan can help Dally. Sodapop helped Stina so Stina can take him. Two-Bit and Johnny helped Ava so she can help them. That leaves us with what? Darry, Ponyboy, and Steve?"

They nodded. Everyone came to an agreement.

"So it's settled then."

I waved as my friends left with half of the gang.

"Meet me here tomorrow morning so we can talk about school!" I yelled

"Will do"

A couple hours later my mom made pizza and we discussed everything.

"I'm not sure if we can take care of 3 more boys right now." My father mentioned.

"Well that should be no problem." Darry added. "I can find a roofin job and Steve could find somethin simple. He worked at a gas station before."

"He could work at McDonalds," I chuckled.

He glared at me. "I hate McDonalds"

"Well then work at the gas station around here. It doesn't fix cars though. Maybe we can find a car fixing place that'll take you in."

My dad called many different places and looked through the newspaper. He managed to find a job for the both of them, but Steve couldn't go in until next week. Darry was expected to meet the company tomorrow.

"What am I gonna do until then?" Steve sighed.

"You could come to school with us. I was hoping you would come too Pony." I shrugged.

"Yeah, I need to catch up on schoolwork. But wouldn't it be weird that your gonna have high schoolers in your middle school?" Pony asked.

"Probably, but I'll make it work. Plus, my Language Arts teacher is gonna freak out when you guys show up. She's the one who gave us the book anyhow."

"Ugh, ya know I hate school." Steve groaned.

"It's one day, Steve. Tomorrow's Friday."

"Fine."

When it was time to sleep, the boys got the living room, or as my dad calls it, the man cave. It has several couches for them to sleep on. I got my room, as usual. When I got into bed, happiness took over me. I'm finally back home again, I missed it so much. It's been a while since I was able to sleep on this comfy bed. And now that I'm back it feels better than ever.

Jordan's POV

My parents seem to be fond of Dally, because he saved my life and everything, but I don't know if they are comfortable at the fact that he's 3 years older than me. I didn't tell them the worse facts, like how he used to get thrown into jail and how he shoplifted all the time. I wanted him to change. And I hope he knew that he had to be a better person. He really should try.
