Nick's POV
I sit on the sand at the beach staring at the Sun that was slowly setting. Endless thoughts keep on running around in my mind. One leaves and another one comes in to take its place.
All I can think about is my now ex-girlfriend, Hannah. She left LA and moved to New York City to chase her dream of becoming a Lawyer while I stay back in LA to be with my band, PRETTYMUCH.
She told me that she wouldn't be able to handle a long distance relationship and it would be hard to focus on school and work.
She was my everything. We were dating for over 3 years, so when she broke things off, I felt my heart break into two. There's a hole in my heart that was once occupied by Hannah.
My best friends whom are also my bandmates, always try to cheer me up and it doesn't end up working. It's been hard for me to concentrate when we're in the studio writing and producing songs.
When people are around, I fake a smile so they won't question me. I just can't let her go. She's all I can think about.
The boys literally have to drag me out of the house for when we have to go to meetings, interviews, etc.
We're going on tour in less than 2 weeks. We start tour rehearsals tomorrow and I'm just hoping and praying that I'll be able to pay attention. The fans have noticed my inactivity in the past 2 weeks and I feel guilty for not connecting and communicating with them.
I chuckle remembering our 3 year anniversary.
~Flashback~
"Imma get ya that big panda." I told Hannah as we spent our 3 year anniversary at an amusement park.
"Bet." She smiled her eye catching smile at me.
"Bet."
I paid the guy and he gave me a bucket of rings to play the ring toss. Hannah and I went through the bucket pretty quickly until it was down to the last ring. I grabbed the ring, positioned my aim and threw it......and it landed on a bottle!
Hannah and I jumped around in victory and everyone around us cheered. I got Hannah her panda.
"I love you so damn much Nick!" She kissed me.
"I love you so much too, Hannah." I kisses her back.
~Flashback Over~
"Hey Nick, come on bud. We have to be up early tomorrow mornin' for tour rehearsals." I heard Austin say from behind me.
"Do you ever think I'll move on?" I asked him still looking at the waves that ever so slightly crashes against the shore.
"Yeah, I think I will. Hannah would want you to move on." He told me and patted my shoulder.
"Alright, I'm comin' bro, just give me a minute." I told the blonde.
"Alright." He said heading back tothe car.
I got up off the sand and looked out at the ocean one last time.
"Tell me how to let you go, Hannah." I spoke out to no one in particular.
After that I headed to the car where Austin was waiting for me.
