"Hey babe, what would you like for Christmas?" My husband, Jonah asked me.
"You don't have to get me anything, you and the kids are all I need for Christmas." I smiled at and her smiled back.
"You sure, Lily?" Jonah asked me again.
"I don't need boxes wrapped in strings, and designer love and empty things. Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days." I told him sitting back on the couch.
"What would you like?" I asked him.
"I need some place simple where we could live and something only you can give and that's faith and trust and peace while we're alive.
The one poor child who saved this world and there's ten million more who probably could, if we all just stopped and said a prayer for them. That would make me the happiest." Jonah stated and sat down next to me.
"I love you so much, I don't know what I'd do without you." I smiled widely at him.
"Same with you baby girl. I'm so blessed to have you in my life and super thankful for our beautiful children; Alex, Willow, Kyle, and Rose. Family is all I'll ever need to keep marching on."
"Together forever." I stated.
"Together forever." He repeated.
